USDCAD has been strongly trending bearish for quite some time. I am looking for an opportunity to go short on this pair. It appears that opportunity may be right around the corner!

Might be hundreds of pips away...or even much more. If you look at the bigger picture, we are in a strong multi-year support zone, unless it breaks, it will go up. If this zone breaks, it can drop a lot. I favor option number 1 and UC going above 1.25.

As for the strong bear trend...I remember when UC spiked above 1.45...and most of the people in the UC thread were buying, as the trend was super bullish...and if someone even suggested to short above 1.45, he was labeled as crazy. And look at the chart now...
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

If price closes below 21578, then I am going for it.

That is more likely to happen than for USDCAD to go up by hundreds of pips from here.

I like it, 2 different views of the same chart. Lets see how it works out, we will know in a few weeks.


p.s. Oil is about to be dumped looking at the weekly chart...and that would weaken CAD.

I might as well join the party and share my idea.

If USDCAD closes below 1.21273, and remains below it, then I believe we could see it go as low as 1.14600. It would likely take months to get there, of course. Time will tell. But for now, I am looking to short USDCAD.

Rocketing upwards now.
Will hope to get in on a bounce of 1.2088 or thereabouts, but it could go deeper, so lets see what it does.
