Not the best time to consider the USDCAD. Price at resistance and DOLLAR was at support
An example as warning to traders not to blindly trade TDI crosses.

Hi Tekkies,

Looking back history of this thread will find you are able to focus on trading. It is normal for you and many others to get emotional when someone starts bickering you.
Much effort has been put in to help improving the forum environment, that is beyond cleanup reports. We should start seeing the effect of it. FF is a forum but in fact a commercial product of a company. The primary objective is content management and branding. For that we solve problem and prevent further disruption from the root cause. Previously one was resolved. It can be a fair warning to others.

Everyone is here to learn and share. No one is worse or better and here is not a competition. There are always people better and worse than you, say 98% drawdown. A trader can fail miserably now but still have potential to be top trading material and talent appreciated by others. So no need to bear any emotions.

I would say welcome to follow my lead. It will be tricky though as I have no fixed timeframe.

It is so sad to see a person destroying what BigE has left behind for all to enjoy. I know that this method can be and is profitable.

Unfortunately, I fail time and again to prove it. Maybe you can deliver the required results using only what BigE has posted.

1. If you have been reading the posts by tommydogint, then you would already know that the purported 65% success rate is accompanied by risk:reward less than 1:2; more likely between 1:1 and 1:0.3 leading to, at BEST, slightly above breakeven over the long term.

2. This is BigE's thread that he stated is for discussing his 5-method ONLY. Posting screen captures and EAs and indicators that are not part of the 5-method along with misleading claims of r:r running 1:4, 1:5, and even more, is a disservice to all readers of that information and especially detrimental to newcomers and the naive who build false expectations of the 5-method based on this irrelevant information.

Hi Beatentrader,

Please clam down and it's no big deal being misunderstood on a forum.
Assumptions without facts to support are often a projection onto others. Say if someone has been trading DEMO for years, it is not surprising to have him/her thinking others must be trading DEMO too.

Same in trading, trading with sufficient confluences and react to market conditions instead of predicting based on personal preferences is more realistic and potentially more profitable.

I hope traders would realize that betting 50pips for 60% @10pips and so is not that sustainable in trading. The win rate was mentioned by BigE, which was his experience and expectation to the TMS traders. He did not mentioned any specific RR but studying his charts and according to TMS, he was likely trading with >1 RR in respect of initial SL and projected TP.

Hahaha.. don't worry, this are just forums and they CAN'T and NEVER get me tensed or angry, but I do like to make things straight, so an "A" will always be called an "A", not "B".

By the way, this are my current open positions, apart from 2-3 positions, the others are all based on TDI crosses and a little PA.

Ok, I understand. But it will be nice if you give the risk:reward in posts with information about winning %. This because newbes may think winning % is the most important and doesn't understand the importance about risk:reward.

If you do some in-depth analysis of risk: reward as presented by many FF members as well as a number of Internet sites, blogs, and YouTube videos, you will discover, just as tommydoginti has shown in this thread, r:r is EXTREMELY RARELY applied and discussed correctly, leading to it being essentially a meaningless metric for the common retail trader.

Unfortunately, few posters provide data for both win rate and risk:reward, so it is rarely possible to cite both. And even when they are provided, one or both are incorrectly derived, leading to at best meaningless information and typically misleading, incorrect information.

1) so sorry about the typo with your name Amarjit. it happens when I was too busy while on my keyboard and there were so many online conversations with others at the same time.


2) again sorry that I mentioned DEMO trading when you posted so many H4 trades charts. It was a mix up on my part there and then while I was with other members on Telegram and have also just reading your PM to me. I do have lots of PM backlog clear and will reply your PM this weekend.

3) GBPAUD ... okay when you have other trading method.

BTW, do you know Mario Singh? He is also from Singapore. I met him years ago in Singapore while attending an investment fair and he was one of panel speakers. I was impressed with his track record.

1) on your TDI red green you wont see the 'Golden Cross M15'.
- see the Traders_Dynamic_Index Golden Cross you need to use the TDI full-version by Dean Malone. There are lots of TDI youtube videos of traders teaching TDI-based systems and some of those videos explain the various 'golden cross' of the TDI and Price Action on charts, and how to interpret them. Some are trade add-on signals when trading multiple entries, some are trade management signals for example for moving trailing stop and even possible exits of multple entries multple exits trading.


2) You are right that members trading Big E original TMS 5-Method should not be trading the TDI blindly. Traders must learn from their own experience and to trade only the best setups as Big E mentioned.

However, some members can consider to use the @TMSTDI WatchDog by plamendp for additional information provided by the TDI Red Grenn.
