US Stocks Extend Slump as Tech Sell-Off Continues
Wall Street's sell-off resumed on Tuesday, with technology-related stocks leading the losses as concerns over inflation mounted. Investors fear that the Federal Reserve might alter its ultra loose monetary policy to curb a spike in prices as the economy reopens and activity rebounds firmly. Investors now await tomorrow's CPI report, which is expected to show inflation rate in April jumped to the highest level since September 2011; while economic data on Monday showed US inflation expectations surged to their highest in a decade. Elsewhere, energy shares were also among the worst performers as oil prices decline sharply. On the corporate front, Simon Property Group tumbled after the US mall operator said it does not expect a return to 2019 occupancy levels until next year or 2023; and L Brands fell 3% after the company said it plans to split itself into two publicly traded companies.

Not doing well here...........My longs were stoped now at 49........... Aside and watching suspisiously this thing.

I believe that today might be a crest day......

I closed my positions. I am not convinced this isn't a false breakout (bull trap).

I had several long positions open. I closed them because there appears to be uncertainty in the market.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. There is uncertainty in the market. It could go either way. But bulls clearly have the upperhand on fundamentals. I will wait to see if this is a false breakout before going long.

Ok I see. I don't think there is any uncertainty in the market. This is just very small pullbacks to trick the traders to add more sell positions. Fundamentals, COT and technicals confirm that EURUSD is bullish. I will go with that and hold my longs.

I believe it will eventually make new highs.

Note: when I speak of uncertainty, I am referring to current price action. I am not convinced the time is right to go long. I am a very cautious trader.
