Studies have shown tick volume is not that far off from real volume. You might find this article useful.

Having said that, the volume indicator can be useful in Forex, but it is not wise to solely base your trades on it. There are other factors that have to be considered when using the volume indicator. I did not have success with it because certain factors were absent from my trading strategy, my expectations were out of balance, and I lacked patience.

I have no respect for Techanalyst. Please do not mention his name to me again.

Forex trading is decentralized, OTC trading. There is no single place to look at to see the actual volume of a currency pair. That's why it's often said that the volume provided by your broker is pretty useless. ... Institutional Forex trading volume, the volume that actually matters and moves the markets.

Write this on the paper, and put it on the wall, frame it in a big frame, and stop talking nonsense, once and for all. Volume indicator is useless. Here we go again... just do what you think works for you. But pls stop complaining that market is manipulated, ridiculous, behaving unusual, going the other direction instead of this, etc..etc, every time it goes against you. Your unwillingness to learn more things is what makes you think that way.

EURUSD: The Daily candle closed bullish and is above the previous monthly high. Thus, the breakout is valid. The trend is still strong Bullish on the Daily. Therefore, I will drop down to the 4HR chart and look for a long entry point on a pullback.

I keep adding and trail it with stops untill it gets hit. Yes, only one stops and once it gets hit, all orders will be stopped. So, no problem with FIFO rules.

If I get stopped out, I will strike again depending on PA, time of the day, which session and projection. I may strike again at lower price or may sell (flip) scalping the pullback. It all depends on a current situation. Right now, I am looking to add another and adjust my trail stops a little higher.
