COT data works if you know how to use it correctly. But, it's not a holy grail, just a tool. I use it myself as a part of my fundamental analysis. You bought the high here which was a high risk trade imo. Just my 2 cents.

It's funny that you would say that considering the COT data comes to us 3 days LATE, and to make matters worse, on Friday of all days (no trading allowed for retail on weekends, but banks get to have their fill). Lol

Frankly, I think COT works for you because you believe it works for you. I would like to see the results of 100 trades you have taken based on COT data. It's my guess you will have more losers than winners.
