Not saying that it would change but do you know that interest can flip with a phone call ?! The added removed and vice versa.

Not really

There are times when the big players are doing nothing, price becomes random for short periods when their EA's are turned off.
Then there is periods of structure which are the times when Big players are controlling the order books, we see price respond to support and demand during this period.

No doubt the times you like to trade is when the big players lose control to their opponents and price runs hard. There is someone more powerful then Big Players.

To read their hand requires either pattern trading or in my case, studying liquidity imbalances.

No, they don't do phones like that anymore. They do not flip just over a phone call. Institutions add their positions and hold it for weeks, months and years. They do not trade on a 1 or 5 minute charts, they usually look at the daily, weekly, monthly, yearly charts. They add positions, and same goes if they are planning to sell. Market Makers do trade o lower time frames, and they are the ones hunting stop losses. But they do not hunt stop losses for 20+ pips. They do hunt stop losses about 5 to 10 pips and that is that. But because they have a very large capital, 5-10 pips for them they make millions on it.

The forex market doesn’t have a volume indicator, as a result. By tracking the currency and commodity futures allocations by large institutions and smaller speculators, traders can use the COT report as a volume indicator.

Some of the biggest global companies, who have access to real-time economic data, come to the futures markets to hedge their exposure to raw material price fluctuations. Forex traders can find this data useful in gauging the positioning of the market at a certain time.
Also, the report is useful for determining long term strategies, due to its lagging nature. It gives updates regarding the previous weeks’ positions, rather than just for a few days.

Pay attention to Non-commercial, because they are hedge-funds, large speculators and institutions.

Depends if you want a sense of volume for the current market. Futures volume can tell us what density we are trading right now within the current cluster.
We can get some signals their directly but they don't offer us a hint of the bigger picture unfortunately.

What this density signals do tell us is Stop hunting is a myth as localized passive limit orders are only a small part of total volume that mainly comes from aggressive market orders.

JPY majority institutions are still short. USDJPY is bearish. It should get to monthly demand zone @ 103.XXX.

I understand, a lot of traders have no clue how to use COT reports. Yet it is very simple. If you can't use COT reports, well just stay away from it.
