You only look at the non-commercial. They are hedge funds, large speculators. Don't worry about commercials and others.

But thats the thing with COT...we see data from last week pretty much...and that upmove already happened. If next week EU drops, COT numbers may be different(published week after) with shorts having the upper hand and again will come too late for people to draw conclusions from it.

Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

No, Ive clearly attached the some of the history of COT to your post. They come out every Tuesday, it is available for the public every Friday. It is very useful tool for a longer term trading. You look at the charts too, another good tool, you look at the supply/demand zones, and/or support resistance, you look at the fundamentals, add all of those, plus your sentiment, and you are good to go. Once it starts breaking for example up, there is no stoping for weeks even months, you just keep adding and taking profit. It is not that complicated.

Here's my take on the EURUSD, from the technical perspective of a swing trader. The bearish mode on the EURUSD market has given way to a bullish tone. On the daily time frame, EURUSD price action is respecting a rising trendline (blue) from recent lows. Presently, price action is sideways as the market tackles a minor horizontal resistance around the 1.20000 area (magenta). A bullish breakout from the area may see further northward push. But a bullish misstep may see bears push for a southward mode, which may see a retest of the minor horizontal support around 1.18700 (light green).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

The market is both in my opinion.

Without pressure applied by a big player to one side of the order flow books, price is random.
Once the big players start attacking either the Bids or Asks in a market, structure is created and tradable TA appears like magic.
So we need manipulation of the markets by a big player to offer us tradable patterns.
TA traders like patterns and levels, therefore it seems not random which it is.

I favour a bullish market today.
