Don't contact Dean Malone about the TDI. The way he uses it for his method is 180 degrees from how we use it... you need to learn how to use it our way...

The TDI is the heart of our method. It tells you when to enter and where to exit any trades... so review previous posts and learn it good.

HA Candles are important because it makes your trading way less stressful... use them.

Stoch's is nothing but confirmation. If Stoch's & the TDI give different signals... lights flash off and on warning me to take a closer look before entering.. and usually I look for another trade.

5 ema... shows direction currently... only wanting to enter on candle 1 or two. If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter... if not and all looks strong then enter on candle 2... use some discretion... practice on Demo... take some chances and see if yor head computer was right... it's free.

HA Candles... What are their size? If they are small I will usually go find another set up... Look for consolidation... look for how close PA is to supp/res levels... use your brain !

Believe it or not you have to participate and think... until it's so second nature... there is nothing to it... it's so simple... don't complicate it or you will lose...

Pretty aggressive and good luck! I would wait for a quick retest, i.e. double top, (and divergence) to confirm rejection down.

Hey Tekkies

There is no stupid question but why did you do not follow and apply Post#647 which you quote so often?

Practice what you preach or just plain stupid trading behaviour.

Selling at the BRN 1.1900 when the price action shows recent bullishness and there is no reversal candle setup.

Hey Folks

Of course, Big E became more aggressive with his APB/HA#1 entry because he has years of trading experience trading with his TDI in Post#25. He has his rules in Post#261.
That TDI#25 updates only when the price bar and HA candle closed. He was very good at price action and he knows his support and resistance levels when he look at the charts.
When he traded aggressive entry, he also use his conservative exit rule.
Do you know his conservative exit rule?
If you still do not know, then you have not read all his posts and pieced together all the posts information and seen the full picture of Big E' trading style.

All the crap newbie add here like 'test and re-test', 'divergence', QM, mixing rules from other system Amazing, etc. will not improve Big E 5-Method.

Keep It Simple: Follow simple rules for entries and exits. (Post#2617) Less is More!

Price Action is leading indicator over the Stoch and TDI. That was a ' fakey'. ... I cut loss once and I remember my TMS V19 information ... follow H4.

Don't get fired ! Just make the necessary transition to trading 4hr charts during the London session... or Daily charts.

make it a point to check the 4hr of your H4 chart conditions and follow the market type conditions.

When trading don't bite off more than you can chew. Trading Demo is different than trading live... For some reason it gets harder to pull the trigger when it's real money... that's why its so important to build confidence and study old charts... any pair, any time frame on Demo... and then when you finally go live... Trade a Micro account first... as more confidence builds switch to a Mini account... because if you made a poor entry or decision... it really hurts losing the green stuff... So start SMALL when you switch to live trading......

when you plan your trade, you must know when to get out. Trade Invalidation is a simple exit rule. Do not hang on to losers when you are trading single entry/single exit. It is different from trading with Average Entry Price with a Basket of positions.

- Use Single Entry / Multiple Exits to improve your trading.

Don't follow gurus who tells you that "The Candle is clearly Up/Down" to determine your bias.
Easily to buy at tops and sell at bottom, the "Red Christmas" was the perfect example of it, demonstrating >50% chance of price turning against you if entering because "The candle is clearly up/down"

EU is trending up in long term and consolidating in last two days before you entered. If you are trend trading you can enter upon Buy signals (which you have showed us a good entry of yours), if countertrend or ranging then the level you sell was feasible, just I would look for additional confirmation instead of entering in first retest.

InTheBox and Pip29 show us some very good PA analysis and TMS entries. Their entries upon reversals on pullbacks are precise and perfectly align with BigE's single entry (and/or re-enter in next trade).

No need to conversate with people who buy/sell into SRs, they don't know what they are doing and clearly do not understand BigE's TMS system and PA. Why not spend more time and effort to revise BigE's posts, reflect own's mistakes, and improve your own trading. And you will know BigE has warned us not to trade into SR, and close one trade before (re-)enter the next one.

Good Luck Tekkis.

Hey TMS Folks

Hindsight analysis is always perfect.
You will see the range top and range bottom in hindsight after the fact.
You will see the trend in hindsight after the fact.
The fact is there are no TMS gurus. Big E was no guru but he had 15 years trading experience.
I see we have many newbies in this thread in the past 10 years and newbie will claim success in very short time and want to become the TMS teacher teaching others how Big E traded.

Its lot of fun reading newbie posts with their 'smoke and mirrors' claims.
