Dislikedwow, what a great thread, I am up to page 110, truly monumental, thank you Laura. I just have a question, that I haven't seen mentioned, yet, is there a bias in direction to price depending on where it is sitting in relation to the open, or is the overall structure /trendlines more important, ? just curious thanksIgnored
DislikedGood morning Laura, I just wanted to thank you once again for the teachings you have given us in this thread, thanks to which my trading has totally changed. In a post (4173) of December 29, 2020, you commented that you had incorporated the basic concepts of Wyckoff and your own interpretation of the volume and I am currently observing the indicator vwap and the PVO (percentage volume oscillator) in order to fine-tune a little more possible operations. Could you give us some teaching on this? or some clue on how to use the volume. Thank you very...Ignored
DislikedHello Laura, Glad to see that the thread is still active. I have been away since December due to health issues. Fair to say it's been a crazy few months. Anyway, glad to be back doing what i love. In the chart below, in a continuation/double channel failure setup, which of the short entry points is best- entry A which was done after a bar close below channel after a few closes above or entry B, a case of wait for retracement inside the channel? or both? Thanks {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi, Welcome back - hope you are in a better place healthwise now. It's a matter of personal preference when it comes to which entry type is 'best'. Both are valid. If you wait until price closes below the channel to get in short, you have the added benefit of momentum at your back. If you choose to enter when price is inside the channel, you usually get in at a relatively better price but with slightly more chance of price reversing on you quickly.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for your guidance Laura. I am in a better place and pray it stays that way . In the chart below, was i too hasty to enter short at arrow? Would this constitute "anticipation of a channel break"? Price had been stopped by previous day high (not shown here but indicated by black line) and had crossed the 55 ema. Thanks.{image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} My take on your chart: PA is above the 200MA and the last candle is still moving up (close higher than open / momentum...), so I reckon this would not be the best of moments to short this pair. I'm curious how Laura will evaluate your question...Ignored
