your evelopes look like triple exponential ones?

the curviture looks simlar to that defined as repainter redrawer but i guess your using it to identify vtls

as to what allain makes to i not know

Correct, was playing a lot with it. It is the same principle as the displaced moving averages, however it projects the last 12 bars so I do not have to draw them in.

Most people are using them in the wrong way, thinking they have magical powers. I have been trading a similar method not knowing the fundamentals behind the strategy.

Paris has enlightend me and shown me the path towards a deeper understanding of what I am actually doing.

what is the benefit of using tripple exponential moving averages instead of the parisboy envelopes?

Hi Merka,

No extra benefit at all, other than it looks more clean.

I have traded with 1 envelope and price action before I learned about this thread. Now I am trading with 3 channels and using VTL extensively thanks to Paris with crazy succes and wanted to share.

Normally I don't take the trade against the flow, however could not resist because of the screaming symmetry and confluence with the Fibonacci numbers. Not sure if this one will workout but went in anyway.
