Jagz,

Regarding onscreen objects, please look at this and this kind request for a PIN Counter box. I think Leviticus has done most of it already with a PIN Count Alert, but it doesn't have a visual display yet.

Will be much appreciated.

Jagz,

Thnx for the reply.

Yes, and no.
Similar to PIN_MIG, but with an additional mode. Instead of only having "Minimum number of agreeing signals" as an option, to also have "Minimum number of overall signals". I.e., a simple summation of the total long and short signals of a specific input PIN.

Also, the top of the indicator should additionally display the current count (summation), as shown below.

My observation is that there is a lot of liquidity in the market when the majority of pairs are in agreement (trending) in Lower, as well as Higher TF's.
We see this by the sum of all PINS increasing on multi TF setups. Notice the twelve signals under PIN 9? I don't trade until at least 14-16 pairs are trending (regardless of direction), so I find myself counting my PINS all the time...

Cheers,

Lee

EDIT: You might ask how this will benefit others? When trading currency indexes, not all pairs are traded in the same direction, but if one has a system that is set up to give signals for USD pairs only (for example), with a total PIN count option, PIN_MIG could release all USD pairs if 5 of the 7 pairs are trending (regardless of long or short direction).

Hello everybody
I started to prepare a strategy in which I use the "PIN BOX Breakout". Everything is OK except for the "Signal Shift" function, I am using the "COnfirmed Bar" command on an M15 chart but in use, the signal is sent to the confirmation of the M1 bar. Is it possible to propose over which period the confirmation period?
Thanks

Hello !

The MACD pin doesn't work properly on offline charts and dose not send any recognizable signal by the MUX pin.

Hi, offline charts are not supported by my multi-symbol PINs.
Your offline chart is using a synthetic symbol (#Bskt ...) not any of the 28 currency pairs. I presume you are using a basket generator EA to create this. The point is that the PIN has no way of knowing which symbols were used to create the chart.

Dear Jagzuk,

I want to thank you very much for your generosity time and dedication sharing your tools.
I have been testing most of your shared tools and I find them extremely helpful.
I want to give a feedback in reference to Angletor. As we know the available angles are 30 and 60 degrees, but what about with the most important angle that is used in physics in order to reach the maximum range? I mean 45 degrees, this angle is in the middle, between 30 and 60 degrees, and this would provide extra time using the wave on the trade, either one, when the price will reach 60 degrees but it is building up from 45 degrees or if the price is moving in the same direction but it is losing some strength, coming from 60 degrees in order to reach 30 degrees, in both cases we can take advantage of this price movements inside the current wave. For these reasons, I would like your help adding 45 degrees to Angletor, as an additional option, inside the settings, I am sure that we will have a nice surprise with this addition that will benefit all of us.

Thank you very much again, the best for you now and always.

Hanxyork

JagzFX One PIN allows a wide range of MT4 Custom Indicators to be used as PINs without the need to write any code!
Could this be the Lord of the PINs?

Apologies to the family and fans of J.R.R. Tolkien for what follows:

In the Land of Forex where the Signals hide.

One PIN to hunt them all,

One PIN to find them,

One PIN to bring them all,

and in a dashboard bind them.

In the Land of Forex where the Signals hide.

I know many of you want to make your own PINs but don't feel comfortable doing the coding. So this is for you. You can configure One PIN to use most Custom Indicators to look for trends, line crosses, level crosses, etc.

Many of you should be able to get going with just the download, but if you need more help and examples please look here (it has taken hours to document this PIN so please excuse that I haven't reproduced everything here on FF).

This has been a complex build, so there will undoubtedly be some bugs. If you run into problems - and want help - please post screenshots of your config and attach the Custom Indicator you are using so I can check what's going on.

Regards
Jagz

PS. If you make useful tools with One PIN and your CIs please share your ideas here.

So just want to make sure I'm doing this right.

I have a CCI indicator, and set its default CCI length value in source to 100. MT4 compiled it OK into a .ex4

I've tweaked the dashboard and PIN settings accordingly.

The way I'm looking for this to work is simply:-

If CCI prints above zero, buy
If CCI prints below zero sell

It should stay in the trade until the time the indicator prints a signal in the opposite direction (below zero coming out of a buy trade, or above zero coming out from a sell trade), at which point it closes the existing trade and opens a new one in the new direction.

Il let it run and post back after a couple of days.

Thanks again

***EDIT 24/02/2021***

I've uploaded the corrected template to include the right AVL (Buffer A versus Levels).

I've also uploaded a screenshot of how its running from last night, so far so good (This is by no means a good long term test!)

Though not sure why Auto is flagged differently, I will let it run as I want this to change direction when required according to the CCI above / below zero print automatically.

***EDIT 2 24/02/2021***

Jagz kindly pointed me to the right area to resolve the opposite signal issue.
Ive also uploaded an updated template and indicator source disabling alerts by default from the CCI itself.

Thanks again!

Hi, mostly ok I think, but check you have the correct PIN mode. It looks like you have it set to AvM (Buffer A versus MAofA) which is comparing the CCI value to an MA calculated by the PIN itself. However, it sounds like you want to compare the CCI to zero, then set the mode to AvL (Buffer A versus Levels) and leave both Levels set to zero (defaults). Your indicator has six buffers and you have set Buffer A index=4 which seems correct.

Wonderful pin and idea, Jagz! Congrats and good luck improving this important pin for EAX surfers.

I remember that when I was thinking about the BC trading what it is, I was explaining the whole concept to my wife using the "one chart to rule them all" terminology and there was "a-ha! moment" to her So hopefully it will be the same with One Pin users and will give you some extra time for your projects coding

With regards to possible bug I have noticed that after I removed from the chart your one pin the GV's are not deleted and remain active on its designated channel. It is also happening with the MUX as far as I remember.

Hi Lev! Great to see you here, and bit thanks for all you contributions here on FF.

Regarding the persistent GVs, that is by design. When using EAX with "exit on signal lost" changes to the PIN settings can cause all GVs to be cleared, which closes any open trades ... undesirable. So, I built an option into my PINs that keeps the GVs and it is enabled by default. Just change it to false.

Hi,

Testing your indicator with One PIN, I noticed a lot of signal alerts popping up (actually I heard my PC pinging in the middle of the night!). This seems to be because the indicator has alerts turned on by default. Because the PIN calls the indicator for all symbols, the result is you get the alerts for all the symbols. This might be what you wanted, especially if you are using the alerts to trade manually. But if like me you prefer a cleaner (quieter) setup I suggest you recompile your indicator with the alerts set to false.

Best regards
Jagz
