After almost having seen or passed a bit weekly R1 it corrected down last two weeks.
So take care around 1.2184 this week.

No positions on Eur for me today. Wish I'd stuck to my original plan and went long on the retracement. I just see price bouncing between the outside of a symetrical triangle and a longer term 4h TL, and struggling with 1.2150 resisitence. There's a bearish H&S on dxy too but it's struggling with its supportive levels but overall looks like it will continue bearish very soon. So I still want to go long but not at the current price. The treasury sell off has calmed down so dollar yields are dropping back from their crazy heights so this supports dollar falling off a bit. COT shows a bearish picture for the dollar too.

Closed it @1.2156, IMO, this is the high it should go. 1.2166 - 1.2176 is the area interesting but 1.2160 is also a good resistance.

I can see a case for a short scalp around here. A rising wedge is pointing towards a 1hr supply zone 1.2162-69. If it makes a push up to 1.2167/68 it might work. Would be maybe a 6 pip SL and 20 pip tp. I think it would coincide with DXY hitting S1

EDIT- shorted 1.2168, my stop is to BE already. Not looking for much, will play it by ear

Looks like it will be stopped BE. A bit pointless entering trades at this time of day when price is just meandering sideways

For me it is this: we had the rising wedge in DXY as shown below with a fake breakout to the upside which ended exactly at the price where the peak of the wedge would have ended. Then we gapped back, broke to the downside as the wedge would have implied and retested the wedge successfully. At the same time the retest of the wedge was the second shoulder of the shown head and shoulders pattern. Now the way might finally be cleared for another leg down.

Unless this is yet the next falling wedge

I missed my entry at 1.203 long getting stopped by 2 pips, then missing my entry long at 1.209 by 2 pips (1.2092) , some disastrous and extremely unlucky past 2 weeks for me missing massive trades while getting drained attempting to scalp...

There are 2 things that can happen according to my strategy:

Bullish:
1.) We fly up literally just going straight past 1.235 where we got stuck last time.
2.) We pull back from here to 1.2089 before going upwards

Bearish:
3.) My pattern setup may have just occurred once again, meaning if we have a 4 hour close above 1.21555 AND another 4 hour close below 1.21555, we are going straight down where we will have a pullback to 1.2089 before making lower lows.

1.2189 would eliminate all bearish possibilities for me.

The only reason the 2nd option is even there is because the pullback to 1.203 was expected from my strategy, but the extension to 1.21689 was way too far, hinting to me that my pattern is restarting.

I have a short entry at 1.21726 expecting 1.21736 to hold with a 10 pip sl hoping this is scenario 2. It'll be pretty clear soon.
