Using a trend following strategy that’s been working well!

4-1, 3-1 R:R depending on PA

Good day today!

I think short term uptrend may be exhausting a bit as it’s already run up 100pips

Sitting on sidelines for now to keep my profits, and consider more trades after Fed Chair Powell testifies.

divergence on hourly RSI circa 2170 may be our interim top. ton of MA support below this make it a bumpy ride. Key support @ 2120 2050.

Need to see candles close below 2157 first.

Just a quick thought but I think it may want to retest the symmetrical trangle it broke out of on the 1h/4h. DXY may want to retest a 4hTL too. So I reckon possibly 30-40 down before back up but not shorting currently, still waiting for that long opp. Between 1.2130-40 would coax me in long

Edit- also seeing a falling wedge on 5m which implies a breakout up way before my target long area

At the start of the week I said- strongly bullish week but I have not managed to get a single buy trade in, the train keeps leaving without me

I actually want the sell to activate before the buy.
Keep in mind that bulls have upper hand today because we took out the highs of yesterday

We are starting to get into daily supply (not shown on this chart) around 1.2158-1.2229 so this current bull wave might be cut short in this zone

Good Morning, I am enjoying reading your comments as they completely agree with my analysis, what is your time frame for trading as in how long do you intend to hold them for? I personally enter at traditional scalp with a swing trading target and scale out aggressively and leave very small portions on for the swing target.
