I don't see any harm done so far. But I agree I have been pretty lucky so far, trades performing better than the 65-80% as suggested by BigE. I expect a drawdown period anytime to average my win rate...

Yes you are correct. You remind me of someone here that only scale out to Daily and Weekly when any trade executions or analysis is done.
Analysis and management can be done at HTF but entries are better at LTF, should one relies on MTF confirmations.

It's hard to pinpoint what that SOMEONE here really does because he posts so many conflicting things and EAs and various indicators and pieces from a multitude of systems and in the en, he tries to Martingale his way up from the deep negative due to multiple add-ons to losing trades.

If you want to protect BigE's legacy then don't spend a post like this. you should keep posting the trading journal.

If I like the way someone else, I will follow.

Follow, if not like, then ignore.

If I were a novice I wouldn't mind reading everything. Except for this kind of controversy.

I'm going to do a test on the Daily charts. When green crosses red I'll stay in until green crosses red again. I'll report the results in a week or so... I'll only enter if the candles are medium length or larger... wish me luck

Hey Folks

Here is a newbie @tommydogie' confession. He has no trading skills so he rely on luck. He only started trading last year, less than 9 months.

He does not trade TMS and now he lie about better than 60% - 80% wins .... when was the last time we hear a newbie lied about 85% to 90% win rate? What happened to that newbie? LOL.

I have been in this thread for 10 years, every time a newbie come here and tell lies about high win rates, you folks better run far far away.

A newbie thinks this thread is about TDI and green cross red. Such a fool who has not even read all Big E posts in Forex Factory.

2scoops asked me a long time ago what would be the most beneficial to learning this method for higher success... The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?

It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

When we use the Double Bollinger Band on the price/HA chart, we have the option to stay in the trade as long as the price/HA candle does not close inside the upper band.

Our entry setup remains the same as what Big E explained in his Post#261. A the price trends and both the price bar and HA candles continue moving in the upper band (20,1) the trade condition is valid.

I usually use 2 candles look back for my trailing stops.

Learn to scale-in positions when the price action remains in the upper or lower band (20,1)

If you see the TDI daily in the OB/OS region, always check the Weekly for the market condition. In a strong trending market, the Daily price can remain longer in the OB/OS regions.
