Agree, anything can happen, especially going countertrend on M5, but a microchannel is a good sign, it means persistent buying which attracts more buying from those willing to get in, and then those fading the microchannel get all trapped, chasers come in, and you eventually get a spike, unless of course it all gets flushed by bears just waiting for liquidity, you never know. But it often is the first sign of a decent trend.

Absolutely ridiculous non movement all week with 30 pip range during the eu/us session. I doubt anything will happen today there is just no reason to. Apparently these awful weeks are tied to very light news cycle.

Had long order at 1.2101 get activated last night, closed while ago at 1.2112. Based on the simple fact I don't like trading Fridays.

It is best to avoid trading on smaller time frames. Daily, 8HR, and 4HR are best. Maybe 1HR.

Hi everyone! brand new on this board.

I trade EU, intraday and scalping mainly, working the 1m, 5m & 15min charts.
Long term permabear view doesnt prevent me from going long at some points durnng the day.

Will post here, in the meantime I am looking also for a US Treasury TBond 30yr mainly board here on FF, couldnt find any but as I said I am pretty new here. Anyone can help me out? very much appreciated.

Sold my long position for 70 pips but although I'm overall bullish and was planning to hold, it looks like EUR/USD is going to pullback a bit. I'll be looking to reload possibly around 1.2070 - 60.

Daily Chart - Looking at that trendline level as a possible support.
Monthly Chart - Falling Wedge is possibly still moving towards the upside.

Here's my take on the EURUSD, from the technical perspective of a swing trader. Price action on the daily time frame has surged back to within a rising wedge (red) after breaking below it several days ago. Presently, price action is sideways at the horizontal resistance area around 1.21300 (magenta). This indicates a directional pause, and what price action does in the early part of this week may signpost market mood for the week. A bearish flip of the area may see bears retest the horizontal support around 1.19300 (light green), but a bullish push-back may not produce much northward momentum as there are a few technical barriers to contend with.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

The market is dominated by uncertainty. The occasionally prevailing trend lasts for a limited time and changes its direction too frequently. As long as the market remains unstable, we stay aside, waiting for the market to get back on track. The massive trend however is bullish, but i would rather stay away from the weekly as i am not sure where the best move is.
