No, that's minimum deposit for DMA trading. Standard account starts from $100. But I agree - the lower min. deposit, the better for beginner.
Ignored
I don't think that the lower minimum deposit - the better, that can provoke traders to act not very responsibly, especially if the trader is just starting to trade. And that leads to problems with industry at all.

As far as I know, Trade.com has Trading Central signals. For some reason they are not available to me, I don't even know why.
And in general, how useful are they? Because I don't have that kind of experience.

Trading Central is available for all account types except Silver, but to activate Trading Central you need to contact your account manager.
All in all, their signals can improve your trading, but I know that many professional traders criticize them for being very filtered (selecting only the most probable ones). Because of that, profitability with them can be lower than when trading based on your own analysis (assuming you are a professional and do it well, of course).

I can't agree, the signals (if we are both talking about Alpha Generation) are good in filtering false signal, sometimes ADC don't mark promising points, but that's okey. I don't think an individual trader can perform better solo. So in that respect it's good that Trade.com offers Trading Central.
Of course, if we are talking about team of professional traders (with analysts, programmers, at least 5-10 people), in this case they probably don't need TC.
But I don't think Sajar is of that kind.

Agree, you're right in this regard, for solo traders that's probably the best solution.
Of course, in trading that's better safe than sorry.
But what I meant was that if you focus only on their signals, you can miss some good entry/exit points.
However, this is probably a nice solution to start with.

5K for DMA is a great offer. Has anybody tried it already?

I've never seen a lower minimum deposit requirement for DMA trading. It usually starts with 10K. DMA itself is very attractive in terms of effective fast executions and lower trading fees at the same time.

Yeah, I rate it below average,no offense.
Maybe it is reliable safe and all but yeah, definetly not a good place to scalp or even trade indices.

Thanks for the opinion. Yet, the conditions you've posted are for trade.com CFD accounts. DMA is different. The whole point of DMA is to get better spreads and faster executions. You can't do much about the leverage though. That's a regulatory requirement and does not depend on broker's good will. Offshore brokers can offer better leverage, yet you know, their relibility is often under question.
I'm considering trade.com DMA for myself as well. At the moment I trade on a CFD account with trade.com. I can't say there are any issues with executions here as well, but at the same time, yeah, at the time of news releases the slippages are quite possible. At the time of major news releases that can be rather painful for account equity. So yeah, I also hope DMA can fix that. Let me know if you give it a try!

I registered a live account and funded it in January 2020. Little more than a year ago.

I think support is the weak point here. They can be rather slow with replies if your question is tricky. I guess it takes time to find the team member who has got the necessary knowledge and skills to answer complicagted questions. Routine communication with support is ok You know, registering the account, funding it, setting up the trading platform - that kind of a routine is run flawlessly at trade.com.

Is it true that IB platform is used for DMA with trade.com ? What do these companies have in common apart from the platform?

As far as I understand this is some form of the partnership they have. Tradecom brings some customers in, but uses IB's infrastructure for orders executions and everything that deals with the trading process itself.

Then why not use the IB itself? And what is tradecom responsible of aprt from the marketing? I thought that's what called an affilliate business, but I didn't know brokers can become affiliates for other brokers.

This really is a type of an affiliate marketing, but in this case the broker (trade.com) provides all the support to the clilent on its side, not just redirects it to IB. Trade.com will do the AML procedure, collect your tax forms, provide support in case you've got further questions, etc. IB will execute orders, that's it.
The reason to use is simple. That's a lower threshold for getitng a DMA account.

For heaven's sake, why do they like to overcompliate it all that much? This is so obvious that the more intermediaries there are, the more the end customer pays for the service.
