ECB been not saying but saying for a while IMO that the exchange rate with US was a issue...no matter how much they tried not to say I always felt it. Dont know what they can do about it...

It is clear that ECB wants Europe to gain from exports, but from the other EU is strong yet, but with money that will not help inflation much and so GDP. US is stronger economy and will continue to do so, but money is pouring in from US as long as FED is keeping the same dovish stance.

This is a message that they don't like EU up and they have shown it in the past too. Also this is more like, verbal intervention, but they can refuse it.

Algo doing the counter move seeing public short position. Volume dried up to make their move more easy..

If long and in your trade in profit, book at 2160--dont be greedy..
If you want to short, wait to see 2140 breaks.. Till then, better be on the sideline and avoid shorting..

Gatorinla from "The Swamp" says LO should test 1.22 first, watch for break. If fails, then drop to 1.2117.
If break and H1 holds, then 1.222+
He called yesterday's drop accurately from 1.2175 to 1.214, and the 1.2169 H1 resistance for Asia today.
We have massive option expiries above 1.22 for New York 10 a.m. cut, as well as some smaller ones at 1.215, 1.21, and 1.20

That was my mistake too. Which is why I lost all my profit yesterday, and then some. Was seeing things backwards, not realizing how much the fundamental bias had changed to bullish for the moment.
Now, if top is confirmed after LO, you could enter more shorts up top to average up. Then maybe like you said, go crazy once bearish momentum is high. Good luck!
For me, I like to trade live because the lessons impact me more and activate my preservative survival skills. I won't just pass it off like "Oh, well, it's just a demo" like you do when you lose a strategy game like Risk Global Domination because your strategy wasn't good enough. "Oh, well, it's just a game."

But since almost 2 months ago, the trend has changed. I have achieved +85% ROI in less than 2 months since hitting bottom from losing 90% of my investment in 15 months. It's the best, and most consistently profitable 2 months I've ever had.
But now I'm hitting familiar resistance, getting back into the big, crazy, high leverage stuff... more volatility, as you can see on my chart.
It's a mental/emotional thing for me. But every time, I get better at it, more disciplined, better risk management, better access to professional information, better understanding. Originally, I started out with some cash as a complete rookie. Everything I know now comes from my trading experience only. Like trial and error. I have no technical analysis education. I only trade on my phone. I do not use technical analysis tools. My trading is completely manual and free hand in every aspect. Just a few limit orders, SLs or TPs.
This is my 6th attempt to master Forex in 17 months now.
It only took me 2 attempts to master Risk Global Domination on my phone, also in about the same time frame. The required mindset, survival skills, & risk management is very similar to Forex.
I love playing Risk all day long. It's like my mental demo account. It keeps my mind and emotions in check if I start losing control in Forex. I haven't played Risk since New Year's Day. I might have to do it again soon if I can't stop gyrating on my chart.

I understand the long term aspect of the charts. At the same time, other experienced traders are saying EUR/USD is still bullish, and they are buying in now. Some bought in at 1.23 and are still holding. I give them a hard time. I tell them, if price goes down to 1.20, or even 1.16, would you still call it bullish? Sure.. if price goes back up to 1.25-1.30 6 months from now... Sure, it's bullish. But why not wait to buy until we hit bottom?? Or better yet, why not short it on the way down??
Anyways, my question about which way first, 1.22 or 1.2117, is a short term question, as in, within the next 12 hours... What do you think?? Which way?
I can't tell which way on your H4 chart divergence. It seems neutral. It can go either way.
But in reality, short term fundamentals for the next 12 hours seem to be pointing up (bullish), threatening to break through temporarily, then drop down hard after...

Good morning. EU is stronger today, but inside a bigger range (2075/2260). Support comes at 2140/2110 and resistance at 2190/2200 and 2220.

FOMC is the main event later at the US session. I see it bearish for dollar, but any mention for tapering may help it consolidate further and so EU.
