On the daily chart of GPBCAD, the buying point appeared on the daily basis of swing trading
Hi guys,
Now I want to share with you how I analyse markets and trade them.
First, I draw S/R levels on the weekly charts, let's take GBP/USD. So we can see the market is in UPTREND. Now it is possibly going to pullback to "weekly support" zone. And I expect bullish price reversal from that support zone again...

... and then shift to Daily chart, and I see that price may form "swings" up to weekly support zone...

... considering pullback up to the weekly support zone I may take short trades on H4 when forming good swing... as an example putting sell stop limit order...

I think that is it. It is the general idea how I trade markets...

May I ask you if you have a general bias on a currency , based on carry trade, swaps or general opinion on economies of the 2 countries ?
For example , do you trade GU only on shorts or on both sides ?
What is for example the importance of swaps costs in your trading decisions ?

Hi Bodal,
Swap costs don't matter in my trading decisions. I can take short and long trades depending on market behaviour. Mainly I prefer to take trades based on long-term direction of the market (weekly chart), cause these trades give you much more R/R...

what a relief that it's not.
I want to learn naked swing trading and this site is the best.
In regards to your post 1815 do you only take the near term weekly S/R zones into consideration (like swings in a up trend like you posted above)
or do you look at longer term S/R weekly swings?
Can I upload some weekly charts that I think are at areas of interest?

Well, from my eight year experience it is good if you look at longer s/r weekly swings, lets say 3-4 years. Cause this picture gives you the idea of up/down to where the price may go, if breaks the previous near term weekly swing level.
I hope this idea is clear.
