If you are tracking the GBPUSD, by the technical structure of the pair, I see the likelihood of a southward pullback to a horizontal support around the 1.35970 area in the early part of next week and with the possibility of testing the support trendline (red) on the weekly time frame before a northward turnaround. So, it is better to wait for such a pullback before looking for a short-term swing trading opportunity to the north. I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper. KP {image}

The argument about the definition of swings is not the focus of this thread imo. How you swing trade is a more beneficial focus, which the OP clearly stated as the focus from the onset. KP
