It doesn't matter. The Forex market is BS.

But to answer your question, there are far more people going long in NON-COMMERCIAL than people who are short on the Euro. See this report for a clearer picture: https://www.tradingster.com/cot/legacy-futures/099741

I know I never try to predict the market but when people post I like to give them the chance to justify it, if they don't then its just a waste of everyone's time and is meaningless.

Commercial traders are a larger percentage of trades but they are hedging exposure to whatever business they are in. They aren't interested in making money purely off of their positions, but preventing losses. Non-commercial traders are likely money managers who are making purely speculative trades.

Just keep in mind that the COT report comes out days later. In other words, it's lagging. That's not to say it isn't useful. It serves its purpose in identifying the long term trend. However, it's not reliable for day trading.

Just as a thought if the majority on non-commercials are long and 95% of "traders" lose money what does that tell us, again just a thought

Good day. EU today is bullish trying to rise above 2105 and 2123 supports, resistance iis at 2176 and 2200 strong level.

Brexit, positioning, covid-19 restrictions and vaccinations are themes in the market that can make the traders decide and move the market in either direction.

Have a great day ahead.
