Are we going to 1.25?

I am a newbie intraday trader. I have a couple of buys that I am holding for days now which I entered with the 7-pip SL and thus I have a lot of x's by now, which is such a great thing

The question is what the price is expected to do next... When I look at any chart other than monthlies, I am seeing the completely uncharted territory which is very unusual because there are always other historic extemums showing up at those TFs. The only TF that has any point of reference is the monthlies which is 1.25.

1) What do you think about the long-term potential? As an inraday traders I exit the 50% of the entry at the TPx2 hit, and I leave the other 50% portion to keep on doing its thng with the SL at BE which is a risk-free trade, right?
2) Why is EUR/USD growing so much? It is greatlly growing a lot, but I am not sure that I understand the underlying causes of this.

Good morning. EU is still bullish and I expect it to advance above 2175 and head to 2200. Support comes at 2125 and 2091. Today is Friday NFP end of the week and the price is not moving smooth like, other days, so I watch out and stay out. Have a great trading ahead.

I don't get why exactly you are staying out. The intraday action is really smooth, as you've said yourself, and I made around 12% this weeks thanks to it (with the risk exposure of 1%). So I am not sure why you are not taking deals. Are you an intraday trader?

LOL, that was yesterday!!! Today indeed it *may* get bearish... in fact we should see some drop during the day...

Now I am on the sidelines because this choppiness is not something I want to trade on. Today the pair may drop at any moment (in a bullish trend) and I am not willing to risk money on some gambling...

Hi man, .....Re. your second question....You don't understand why is going up and the underlying causes... and WHO do you think they understand...???? Believe me not even the market makers do...... Who understood why E. reached 1.68 in 2008 ...???? Who predicted this meteoric rise at that time...??? and the merciless drop ever since??? You are fed all fundamentals very late to make any guess of what is coming... You ONLY need to follow the wave. NOT to predict...to FOLLOW. Regards.

I cannot agree more mate. We don't need to understand why the market moves the way it does. More importantly is that we understand what we need do to take advantage of the market.

Stay safe, trade safe.

The only reason why EURUSD is advancing so hard is that investors like EUR so much

When I pick up a trade I note, or hold back on my head the reason why I picked it and if, after the reason doesn't agree with price action, I exit the trade.

Create a fall, trap the bears, and all on a sudden pull the trigger upside.. Objective is forced trapping and forced short covering game before NFP... Better be on sideline is the best trade..

What do you expect when leadership is so poor in our country and people only seem to care about the damn stock market! Millions of people could lose their jobs as more and more businesses close, and the damn stock market will likely still go up! In the meantime, the dollar continues to lose value, making our purchasing power less and less. Why else do you think prices keep going up on goods and services? Is it because every business owner is greedy and out to get the consumer? No. It's because the dollar is losing value and the cost for doing business is increasing. There is a major disconnect in the U.S.!
You don't know because you don't ask.
