You are correct, it is guaranteed to get hit..... if you are on the wrong side.

But what if you are on the right side... is the word "guaranteed" valid still?

Unless you are an expert at trading and have excellent money management skills, scalping is generally not recommended. In other words, few traders have what it takes to be consistently profitable scalpers. I am not one of them.

Of all the traders here in this thread, you should know me by now you being a regular here. You know how I trade, you should get the idea and you should know you can be a scalper and a day trader too.. The problem with what I see from most traders is, the mentality. They have this mindset of, if they can't do it, nobody does or just simply stop not trying to learn how to do it because it is hard or impossible. You've watched how I trade, you should get the idea.. unless you disregard because in your mind, it's impossible and contradicts your belief and understanding. Well, you know that kind of mentality won't improve your learning and skills right? And how many times I mentioned here the philosophy "minimize you losses when you are wrong, maximize your profit when you are right". And by the way, isn't that, the 12pip SL part of "great" money management you mentioned above? Cheers!

I have been focusing more on crpyto lately. The returns are far better. But I don't day trade. As for the Forex market, it is an utter mess as a result of all the stuff going on with COVID-19.
Learn from your mistakes and march on.

Covid is given and affects all currencies. With or without covid, market moves the same erratic way.. volatility still remains, it goes up and it goes down... trade it! Take advantage of what you know. Crypto, metals or currency doesn't matter. Anything that moves, we can trade. It's about managing your trade.

Also people seem to forget, bitcoins, crypto they are all controlled by the government. They are there so the government can track every single transaction. People think, you can't track bitcoins and crypto transactions. They are wrong, that is why they are there. Everything is monitored and controlled, you can't avoid anything.

Just incase you forgot how I trade, here it is... I bought. If am wrong, I get out quick. If am right, I will protect it with SL and will add more and trail... until TSL gets hit or I sense major pullback and decided to close and flip.

I am not concerned about that. My interest is to make money, and so far, crypto trading has proven to be more profitable than the Forex market (my opinion). I feel like the Forex market is like kicking a can down the street, while the crypto market is explosive and full of life. There is a reason why interest continues to grow in it year after year.

All that matters is you're making profit, regardless if it is crypto, gold, forex, stock, etc. Making money is the reason we trade, glad to hear you are doing well in it.

A pip away to hit my sl, am still live and I added when down below. I will add again after a pullback.
