This is true....everything is affected by a luck factor to an extent. When we trade, we can only minimize the luck/gamble factor, but there is absolutely no way to eliminate it. That's life. Anyone who tells you that his/her trades has no luck involved is probably trying to sell you snake oil or has an ego that is bigger than Trump.

PS: I am not anti-Trump. I'm not from the US, I merely watch with abated breath.

I do not rely on luck in any way. My way of thinking rules out the possibility of luck. If I open a profession in any way, I don’t expect luck in any way.

  2. else we go to 1963

chances of drop to 1805 are stronger on profit booking before going to 1963 and/or a final visit to 1.20

You can analyze everything you want, but you need a little luck as well. Look, you can do as much analysis you want, but there are things known as random market events. You can get perfect indications that gold is a sell, but a virus can hit the world and it flies up. You can get the perfect indications to buy a particular food and beverage stock but the virus hits and it tanks badly while tech stocks that focus on things like Zoom goes flying.

It is the case with everything in the life. A sports team owner can assemble the greatest team with the best talent, but he cannot prevent injuries from happening. He can only minimize them by employing the best physios and taking precautions, but that's about it.

Put in the effort to analyze, but also be secure enough to acknowledge that no anaylsis is perfect.

Once you are secure enough to concede that you cannot control everything, you will gain more.

Sorry been trading profitably for 20 years now and use a flip of a coin to determine which way to trade/gamble, just manage my trades/gambles very well, but that's the way I trade/gamble, its not for everyone but can make profits

Don't call yourself a trader please. It is so insulting to think you are one. Foreign exchange is not a lucky affair and it is also not a gamble or even close. Everything we do in Forex is conscious and premeditated in order to be a consistently profitable trader over time. I am irked when I read here about people's shallow psychology of what foreign exchange means to them. It is just weird and I say the illiteracy of the mind in it weirdest form.
It is all about the foreign exchange market.

Only someone who has no clue should think they knew with 100% certainty market direction.

When you do your analysis are you 100% positive on outcome....you must never get stopped out or make bad trades. You have done what know man before you has!

If you do loose trades....then that was a gamble, you took on a risk because you were not certain.... analysis is used to reduce that level of uncertainty..... Making the gamble not as risky

I wouldn't trust anyone who tells me they are 100% sure on every trade. They are no professional. If you are you 99% sure then that 0.01% makes it a gamble because it's out of your control

Most professionals don't .... But know their business calculations come with error. This error or unknown is often accounted for.

Margin of error.....it's a thing.

A business make estimate $1million in revenue PLUS OR MINUS a certain margin of error. Error aka luck can be good or bad extra money less money

Edit. Also i can understand why someone may think trading forex is not a gamble and that's possibly because they don't know the actual meaning of the word... And only associate it with what they know, which may be limited knowledge. Or they are new to trading, still learning, or a scammer if they think they are 100% correct on their trades. Must be some rich people.

As a fact you can't say trading is not gambling if you make bad calls....all your bad calls after your analysis is prof....looking back at you guys market calls
