I did post it about trading and gambling. It is a research online not my opinion.

You still have not provided a single prove that trading is gambling.

If you believe there is such a thing as a Market Maker, then you should agree trading isn't gambling. Market Makers have the means to move the market in their desired direction. That's not gambling. It's power. What Techanalyst is trying to tell you is thoughtful traders are merely attempting to ride the coattails of the Market Makers. This involves understanding how markets work. It's not a role of the dice.

Odds of rolling a 7 with dice better than some trader in win fx. Some guys here better off rolling dice betting on 7 for a career

No, not accurate. Just pure guessing. If you think you have a better chance of rolling and winning in gambling, than I got to say you are in wrong career. Trade don't gamble.

Techanalyst, of course everyone is entitled to their view. I have to agree with the others here. Trading is gambling. It's was a hard truth for me to swallow even now. The thing is there are professional gamblers that play black jack and roll dices etc and make consistent profit every month just like professional traders. A good example of this. I heard David Blaine, the magician, once relate a story about someone he knows that dedicated 10 years of their life. Practicing how to roll dice. They did it 8-10 hours every day. Now this person, makes hundreds of thousands dollars in profit gambling every year. Professional gamblers put in the time and study of various factors to put them in a position to win more than they loose. The difference between them and us is our casino is the stock market, forex market, commodity market etc. At the end of the day, who cares what it is. So long as we are making consistent profit year in year out. But it is an interesting topic. Stay Green.

But there is no 1 on the table it starts at 2 to 12. I wouldn't bet either way, I trade/invest, I don't gamble.

Thanks for some reason you seemed to explain it better

Still risk, still uncertainty, and still a gamble. It's not to discredit the hard people put into their analysis...but fact is after all your analyzing you can still be wrong. Those gamble in things like cards or sports can also do analysis and the good one do

We not gambling since we bet on the outcome based on knowledge, but a a gamble roll a dies hoping for luck, we are not lucky we know, "knowledge"

Still not a solid prove that trading is gambling. I have shared the explanation, not my opinion that trading is not gambling. If you are gambling in trading, you are in wrong career. Unfortunately a lot of traders are still gambling in markets and they are not successful. I trade/invest I do not gamble.

As for practicing on rolling the dices 8-10 hours a day, I will not even comment on that weird statement. No words.

watching for breaks limit down for up 1.1770, there can be sharp fall further though towards 1740 ! upside can test 1933 .take care

Look at chart with dice and possiblity of outcome... Just like a good traders would us analysis. A good gambler would also.

A good gamble may bet $1 on rolling a 2 or 12 and $20 on rolling 6 or 8 and maybe $50 on rolling a 7 based on odds. True he doesn't know what will happen but he knows odds of are grater for a 7 and less for 2 or 12.

Just like that gambler doesn't know how the dice will land is just like like so many fx traders don't know where and when market will go.... Look at numbers of actual traders who are very successful trading, not many. If it these guys knew where market was going they would win more... Don't you think

What world do you live in??? How many people are successful at anything they do? How many are successfully running any business? 1%?

It is because of lack of practice and wrong education that traders lose a lot of money. If they stop relying on strictly indicators, and others, and start doing proper research, eventually they get better at trading. It's like opening a restaurant, you have good advertisement, good menu, you are not too expensive but not too cheap either, the amount of food you give the customers, they will judge on that, and once the word gets around, you will profit. Same with trading, the more you practice, and learn and read, the better you get. As for the gambling, it is just rolling dices. There are better odds where you can still win some money, but overall, it is just gambling by rolling dices. Trading on the other hand, is investing/trading, you have a lot of information available out there, fundamentals and technical analysis, you have bank traders analysis where you can use it and apply it as a tool for trading. So no matter what, trading is not gambling, and gambling in a casino well it is gambling and it is a guaranteed loss, as the house will always win. My broker wins sometimes, but overall for the past six years, I am in a profit, so I win. No matter what, I know out of 10, I will at least have 6 or 7 winning trades. So there you go, trading is not gambling.
