As long as you avoid all of the additions that many other people make (like more indicators, EAs,and methods from other threads) and look FIRST for TDI green cross red--exactly as BigE said to do--and THEN follow your checklist of entry criteria, you will have net success.

You can read in this thread what happens when someone makes all of those additions that BigE said don't do--after 8 YEARS of dealing with the TMS thread, one hopeless guy was so proud to FINALLY achieve the BEGINNER'S 65% success rate, on average over 3 years. Instead of keeping it simple and sticking with what BigE said to achieve the beginner's success rate and then within 2 MONTHS be able to progress to about 80% success rate, this hopeless guy is forever stuck at the BEGINNER'S 65% success rate.

He posts a lot of his cherry picked charts to fool you into thinking that he really has something special. Just think of all of the information that is NOT posted that demonstrates how poor his perversion of BigE's 5-method really is.

He hasn't cluttered his mind with those additions that are promoted here by the ToxicFakeTrader aka emmanuel7788 that holds back himself and others. You know, all of those EAs, other indicators, shipload of bar formations, methods from 5,6,7 or more other threads, and on and on.

Tekkies, I've been interested in Forex for a long time, but I knew everything about it was terribly complicated, this is really hot today, maybe today it's just luck, but in simplicity it's really strong He doesn't want to believe me it can be so easy

the price action was a FO candle setup and the break of the Asian session high aka TOK_5H high

you have the MACD(6,12,9) on your trading chart
other members use MACD(2,13,7) to replicate the default TDI.

there is no system but only a trading method amongst several methods which the OP Big E traded during his time.

Not all pairs will be slow at the same time. Therefore in your system development your system strategy must take into consideration trading the Market Types - Trending Market and Sideways Wide Range Market. You need a certain number of trades per cycle and over a 36 months period to know what your system performance is like. Do Not look at short term performance in weeks.

When you move on to the Daily, there will be fewer trade setups therefore fewer trades in one year.
Therefore you will need to have a bigger cherry tree to pick cherries from.

My cherry tree has now grown to 7 groups of currency pairs.
I pick one cherry (the best ripe one) from each of the 7 groups and trade medium to long term swings.
This way, I will have enough trades every year to reach my financial target.

Group#7 is new and only few brokers offer these.

MACD(2,13,7) replicates the original TDI (2,0,13,34,2,0,7) quite nicely as tested by some members going way back to 2011.
It can be use as a technical filter with the RSI and Stoch to trade the 5-Method.

The other components -
- APB/HA candle
- 5EMA Typical Price, Shift+2 (or +3)
are still the main components on the price chart above
to see the price action

but what it boils down to is still One, Two and Three
and trading the 4hr and Daily.

I don't like M5. In fact I don't like to trade H1 and M15.
Recently I started day trade because of the pandemic lockdown and I have more time to show people here that the 5-Method works in H1 and M15 but only following H4. But many still don't get it. Even in a D1 quiet sideways market, we can make money trading H1 and M15.

With the lockdown I have a lot of time to watch youtube videos too and one interesting one I watch recently is this.
I like that part when she use the dancing example, man or woman ?

since most of the trading systems works well in the trending market I choose to trade the cleanest chart. Currently, I have GBPUSD, EURUSD, AUDUSD, CADUSD, USDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY, GBPAUD, EUR AUD.
I do a little different grouping. I like to choose one pair form the group

GROUP 1
GBPUSD, EURUSD,

GROUP 2
AUDUSD, CADUSD

GROUP 3
USDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY,

GROUP 4
GBPAUD, EUR AUD.
