Have been trading GJ for the last couple of weeks but cant resist trading EA again , 2 trades since yesterday

Emmanuel , on daily theres an Inside Bar candle, do u see it as a bearish breakout tomorrow for some quick H1 trade ?

You don't need to look at either H4 or D1-- just look at the bar chart again that you posted and apply Trading 101 for trend.

You have higher high and higher low before your SELL. There is no evidence by price that there is even an ATTEMPT to reverse the uptrend.

(The TDI gives a clue that the buyers are WEAKENING, but I suspect that you don't know the internals of that indicator so you don't see that.)

Unless you share your exact entry filters and exit conditions, there is not really much of value that can be said about your mixed results.

YES. Several members did created several trading robot expert advisors since 2011. I have tested them all. The trading functions work according the user sepcified entry and exit conditions but you won't make money consistently over a long term due to the changing market conditions.

Someone did invited SteveHopwood to create an EA :

Learn from the OP Big E how he was blending different systems/methods to create new ones.

Hi 5-Method was a blending of other systems/methods - Craig Harris Stochastics + Synergy + { one more }.

Similar concept of COWABUNGA trading system approach.

Plus following the concept of Triple Screen Trading System by Dr. Alexander Elder.

that smTMMS Oscillator by SwingMan is a nice tool, its an AIO hybrid type indicator to show various technical studies All-In-One. Using the AIO tool, it is more conservative than my own trading style. Big E was a very aggressive trader with his reversal entries.

You chart show true REVERSAL setup - HA PA + 5EMA + Stoch(8,3,3).
By adding another oscillator as filter, the number of trades reduces by 36%.... COWABUNGA development study.

That member's TDI trade failed and it was not because his entry was close to the 68-level.


Many trades taken based on the TDI cross will fail because of Price Action + Support & Resistance and not knowing the prevailing market conditions.

One of the many failures of newbie traders trading with the TDI is they do not know how to use this pic and apply on their trading charts.

1) Reversal trades are very risky, therefore when you want to trade reversals, you need to have the trend/swing conditions checked first. Know the Primary (Dominant) Trend.

2) Then the next condition check is where recent support and resistance are.

3) Then the next condition check is if the price in in a consolidation or if the price is near to a consolidation.

4) The next important is the Price Action, is there a True REVERSAL setup. Do you know what a True REVERSAL setup is?

You have to know all these above when you open your charts and when you see a TDI cross signal you already know well ahead in time ... how to trade, ... what to trade, ... when to trade ... then taking clean trades would be a breeze.

The member Gh0stRider did not follow SIMPLE Rules... he spent too much time on the TDI.

About Drawdown and Recovery from Drawdowns

Trading Losses are inherent in every trading system. There is no system with 100% win rate. Limit your losses by knowing how much your system design can deal with and have a trade recovery plan for every trading cycle. My trading cycle is 20-trading days.

Drawdown DD is something which kill many trading accounts.
In her book title “Millionaire Traders”, Kathy Lien and Boris Schlossberg touch several aspects on the Art of Trading. There are a lot you have to learn from and master them.

Managing drawdowns and recovery require constant attention to details and diligent work.
I need to keep my drawdown to 10% and a maximum of 20% per trading cycle of 20-trading days because the recovery is very difficult to do above 20% DD.

Do anyone have all close order pointer in chart indicator for Mt4. I don't have to drag the order It will automatically show close order history on the chart.
Mt5 has this in the platform but Mt4 doesn't have it.
MA provides the market's current direction and strength.

emmnual my dear friend,i tried to write u in private but your messaging is disabled,plz stay away from negativity,whenver we engage in argument or defending our point,sometimes it goes too far and toxic and it becomes a cycle to feed,it will take time to break it ,why all of you dont try to break tis cycle and avoid feeding and replying to negative comments,if one will stop,another will be tired n stop,this war is going on for years now,i come to this thread because there is lot to learn from all of you,but this negativity spoils our mood and experiences.Thanks!
