i would look to hold longs entered near 1700 area and if not long look to enter longs starting with watching support near 1760 -1750 if breaks looking for support near 1730 area I wouldn't expect it to go back to 1700 area but that would be last support for be before switching sentiment to bearish 4h and down TF's; still waiting for bulls to take daily TF before I commit to higher TFs on bullishness that would take a break above 1800 followed by 1900 on daily

Couple more setups that I have been trading.. NAS100, XAUUSD, EURCAD respectively. Just looking to scalp as much as I can on these setups, not necessarily hunting for exact levels.

The answer to your trustworthy question is yes. They were trustworthy on December 23, 1913, but after that it gets wishy washy.

There will always be a need for cash, because there are times when technology fails and cards/checks cannot be accepted as payment for a transaction. Cash will always have a place. However the amount of cash currently in circulation today is but a fraction of the total USD transaction amounts. Loans, Credit Card Processors, Banks, etc all function by digitizing our current currency in the form of debits and credits. Also, the US will still mint coins which is another one to consider. When or if cash becomes scarce, you will see an increase in barter currency, which has been around for a very long time in the USA. In some areas it is still printed on wooden planks. Yes I know it would not make sense on a large scale because it can not be traded in for USD's. Oh but imagine if they modeled it after Crypto. The fact is money is an illusion, it is backed by nothing except speculation. One day, there very well may be a cashless society, but it is still decades away.

Imagine a cashless society during war. There would be no need for large battles, an enemy could hack your system or attack the communication hardware and disrupt the entire society. Pure chaos would ensue, cash will always have a place.

The only way humanity will succumb to this so called "new world cash less society" is when people all over the world agreed and surrender to "centralized ID syatem".. it won't happening anytime soon, decades or may not even happen. Untill then... Blockchain market is just an illusion and the best way to deal it is to trade it like forex, not invest to it.

first area may hold....but assuming volume low...still watching may just wait until volume picks back up with Asia and London

I am of the same view as you.
I have been shorting other Majors, but hesitate at shorting EURUSD. I am seeing that the 1.17 has been conquered by back the bulls and now is a strong support.
EURUSD has even risen back above the large Head-Shoulders neckline. (Going back above neckline, once, is fine for a bearish dip after a Head shoulders. Going back above neckline three times would likely mean this Head-Shoulders is no longer valid.)
Will see what Asia brings. DJIA FUTURES opens positive. China been seen as safe haven with huge money pouring into their bonds.

EURUSD short-term technicals: Neutral

The EUR gains today suggest the currency may have ended its negative short term trend that lasted through most of last week. However, without a firm push above 1.1750 it remains too early to call for a reversal of last week losses, although the 1.17 area does appear to have firmly limited EUR downside through its drop from the low 1.18s. The EUR rise during the early European trading hours looks rather steep and may run out momentum that could take it into the 1.1775/80 congestion band that would act as resistance.

EU is bullish today, 1760-65 is holding the up-trend, below there is strong support above 1700 at 1725-35 and I think that it is going to hold any fundamental drop. The first target is at 1800 and then at 1830 is the hard part for an advance higher.

The EUR sits near the top of the majors overnight performance league with a 0.4% climb that has placed it above the 1.18 mark although with little of note at home to drive the currency lead. There was no relevant data released in the early hours and restrictions or rumblings of new restrictions continue to mount the EU is also reportedly set to shut its doors to Canadian travelers. There is not much to get excited about on the calendar until Friday release of Eurozone, France, and Germany PMIs which should show signs of a slowing recovery amid the reimposition of containment rules. The EUR should trade in line with the rest of its major currency peers during today’s session while we highlight the risk of Germany choosing to impose strict virus restrictions as a possible headwind for the EUR in the next few days.

Started analyzing more on fundamentals. I am still trading technicals obviously, but the more I read the news, the more it helps with my longer term trading. It also does help with day trading. It is a lot of homework day to day to analyse the news, but it gets easier, when you know what you are looking for. If you are trading EURUSD, just read about EUR and USD and of course GBP news. If you trade GBPJPY or USDJPY read EUR news, GBP and JPY news. I concentrate, on CAD, USD, EUR, JPY, GBP mostly. If I want to trade CHF I will look into macro economics for that country, if not than i stick to currencies I mentioned. Trade safe.
