Zoom out on all timeframes.
See how many bar's price is cutting in half, or where support/ resistance stop price to move father in that direction.
So it is wait and see what happen tomorrow.

Remember when you look at TDI you need to look at where M15 crossover. Close/ above / below 68/32 level is not a wise place to enter a trade.

Yes! when you have doubts seeing your charts and including the TDI, then I do what the OP said:
When you see a TDI cross that doesn't look good... start checking other timeframes for the trade... look at other templates at different timeframes... do a thorough investigation before entering any trade. If you do this faithfully your win rate will increase dramatically... If its not quite ready put it on a watch list and go back and check it every 5,15 or 30 minutes...

I start every week with my Weekly Top Down Analysis WTDA
and I see a big Weekly candle which has a name "Weekly Control Candle WCC" . WCC is just one of the TA tool which help me define the market type for 4H swing trading.

Daily chart:
The I drop down to the Daily and see the price action, nothing complex just look at the PA of the APB/HA candles and the 5EMA.
I see HA PA above 5EMA, but the D1 candle are ranging to the upside since a few days.

Next, to my 4H swing trading chart timeframe, H4:
This chart has the most information provided by the EA TMS_V19 and I also check my TMS Monitor H4 and H1.
TMS_19 confirms the Weekly Trend 2/8 is ranging (Blue colour) for few weeks.
PA shows h4 Double Inside Bar .... big candle and small candles (Post#647) ... *CONSOLIDATION* warning!

Hi emmanuel, ussually how many pip you use for trailing stop?
since i think 200 pip trailling stop easily hit when i trade on GBPUSD.
maybe you can give me reffrence some trailing stop recommendation for some major pair like EU, GU, EJ, GJ, USDCHF, XAUSUD

Price is about to take out orders.
That is ok. For those that are concern how many pips are made (5*11=55 pips) is not important.
What is important is did you follow the advice BigE's gave in this thread.
You could also trade without BE + spread and rely on H1 momentum to take price down again.
I prefer to keep what price was willing to give freely.

Look at H1. In 15 minutes TDI will crossover. Will it be wise to try again with some sell orders?

Price has some resistance to cross that support zone. Come back in 15min or 1 hour and check again

Stevepatt was one of the finest TMS trade who started in Big E old thread and he learn EVERYTHING.

He would have seen these price action
and it takes thousand of hours screen time practice practice practice to reach that high level to be able to trade like Big E his post #2617

Just read stevepatt posts in FF. How many years did he take to start trading without the TDI.

Every TMS trader takes time and they will slowly learn to trade without the Stoch and the TDI until one day they can trade lie Big E as in his post #2617

There are no contradictions ... my posts and charts simply show the gradual transition which every trader will go through in stages. You are not there yet until you try look at the charts price action as #1 then the #2 Stoch, then #3 the TDI.
You are looking at the TDI as #1 and you will take a very long time to get to that level of the OP Big E. You started in 2016 and today is 2020, that still a very long way to go for you. stevepatt started in 2011 ... years ahead of you. Those who follow you will take much longer.

The contradictions will never stop. He thinks that everyone should follow his advice and trade the H4 or D1. That is simply a PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

BigE traded TFs smaller than H1 at one point. He gave his reasons for why HE prefers to trade H4/D1.

H4/D1 are not appropriate for traders with small accounts. And no doubt, there are few people that view this thread that have the account equity to trade the H4/D1 with reasonable risk for adequate capital protection. Therefore, continued preaching about the virtues of H4/D1 are of little value to most readers of this thread.

He also made it clear that he developed a system that works on ANY TF!

So H1/M15 discussions are far more appropriate for the masses here.

I hate to monitor charts anyway. Even if I scalp the market I use 4hr charts with success....

4hr charts have less noise, less head fakes, less influence by any news. Just has a lot of benefits...

The key to building confidence is to study old charts... look at the TDI moves and how it looks on PA so every time you see that same set up you will know your odds for success are high.

I'm not looking for 15 pips profit... more like 150 !

If I enter a trade lets say and I'm monitoring the trade and its up 50 pips but suddenly it pulls back 10-15 pips I just exit. I'll keep the profit at $10 a pip... no big deal. If it turns and continues (bounce) I'll just jump back in... Don't get so rigid...

Evidently I missed something while looking at the set up and it's cut me short.... there are always set ups on different timeframes... different pairs. I'll study the trade I jumped out of for the answer so I don't make the same mistake again hopefully..

If your worried about the money in your account how are you going to pull the trigger with confidence? They tell you from the get go the money in your account shouldn't be money you need... otherwise don't trade...

Learning the fx market is like going to school. It costs to go to school and your pip money for trades is what you use to learn. When you have a reliable method and confidence... the market starts to pay you for your education expenses... profit.

The only reason I deposited that amount is because I trade full lots and some trades have 2-4 lots on a trade... or I'll add additional lots as the trade is in progress.. no big deal...

I'm in this because it's fun, keeps my mind active and I'm good at it. Pretty cut and dried...

Seriously you are happy with the way you use the TDI? Wait another 3 more years - start Jan 2021 and we shall see if you can achieve your first 12 months consecutive winning months without any single losing month. Then try the next consecutive 24 months, then the next 36 consecutive months .... When you have achieved 36 consecutive months wins with your TDI Vline or any TDI version, then please post and show us the TDI is your Holy Grail, then you can claim ownership of this Trading Made Simple thread title and have full control of who can and cannot post here.

You do not have the TMS Monitor installed correctly to be in sync with your TMS Vline and that is why you will lose. You need to calibrate the monitor' P-Slope and C-Slope absolute values to match your TDI Vline calculations. No need to visual 12-2 and 4-6 clock face, that visual clock has caused many traders to lose money and they have given up long time ago. The is no way you can print Vlines using your TDI version and expect to make money with it. Stop fooling yourself.

I did not rip another of Big E post out you context.
You need to take into consideration the median income in USA and what is USD10,000 compare to that median income.
If you earn say USD50,000 per annum and want to trade retail spot forex and to make say 20% supplement to that USD50,000, do you think you can trade a USD500 account to generate USD20,000 per year with spot forex trading?

It is the same for you. What is your annual income and how much do you want to make trading retail spot forex to generate 20% per annum of your annual income?
With you last ZAR500 trading account, how much have you grown that account since Jan 2020?

Is trading a ZAR500 account and a ZAR5,000 the same?
