2scoops asked me a long time ago what would be the most beneficial to learning this method for higher success... The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?

It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

I can take you to water but I can't make you drink... follow the simple entry & exit rules. Forget other indicators. I went down those roads so you wouldn't have too...

There is a handful who trade it correctly here who are rewarded nicely...

to solve the puzzle why he started this thread and teach people the TDI is the heart of Trading Made Simple,

you have to go back in history where he started his trading journey in Forex Factory... one piece of his puzzle at a time.

Big E : "I profit every day by using Stochastics....."

If you profit everyday with the Stochastics, then why add anything like the TDI?

FAQs

When we make the transition to trade H4 and Daily, how do we apply Post#647?

- Know the market type condition of the pair when you do you weekly top down analysis.
- Plan your trades according to the market type conditions and know which market types are best suited for trading TMS H4 and Daily.

- remember the basics, H4 has 29 candles per week, Daily has 5 candles per week. What if your broker has a Sunday candle?

Hi,

First of all, a HUGE thank you to Emmanuel7788 for sharing his strategy here for free. I really feel he spared a lot of time for us. I tend to believe more in this thread than expensive seminars. But anyway I started to practise with historic data to build confidence in the strategy - which I have now - and now I am also running a demo account to experience it in real-time and build the confidence in myself. Planning to do that until the end of the year and start a real account from January.

Super excited to see the real results. The demo just seems insane.

Clearly you are a shill.

Save yourself a shipload of agony and stick with Symphonie.

Emmanuel7788 has no strategy. He has a mish-mash of ideas, theories, indicators, EAs, etc, etc. that he has collected over 30 years. He posts one idea on one day, some other idea on another day, uses gimmick A for this trade, gimmick B for that trade, and almost none of it follows the SIMPLE information that BigE presented in this Trading Made Simple thread.

If you managed to write down a set of rules to follow based on the nonsense that he presents, then I hope you did not waste a few hundred trees printing out those hundreds of pages that you wrote.

Did you include weekly top down analysis, at least 20 candle patterns and types (such as mother bar, BUEB, BUOB, momentum bar), Ross hook, Medhi's offshoot of TMS, MEME, the EAs to do most of the thinking for you, multiple exit methods (such as let an EA figure it out for you, trailing stop 2 bars back, fixed stop at last swing bar, trailing stop by ATR, trailing stop by fixed pips).

Wow! I'm tired just from writing this small selection of the nonsense that he claims to use, so I can't imagine how exhausting it is for you to have to read through so many pages of criteria just to make an entry decision, and then followed up with more exhausting reading for an exit decision.

Clearly, you have to be trading on daily and higher timeframes to be able to have enough time to finish going through criteria before the trade has already played out!

Hi figspan

The 5-Method shared by the Big E the OP of this thread works great and I use this same method and developed several several systems with different money management strategies to trade in different market type conditions. What is even more important is to have the right mental strategies when you are trading different systems in different market types. You will develop your mental fitness to trade when you have been trading for a long time like 30 years.

Good that you have done your own practice with historical data now started on demo trading. Make your demo trading as real as possible and to have a realistic account deposit like what you would be trading with real money, this is to test your money management strategy and your entry and exit strategy. Real-time demo trading in live market conditions will help you learn faster and you will build confidence in the method over time. Remember this post #4752 by Big E, this is another piece his puzzle.

You know I prefer to trade the the 1 & 4hr timeframes....

Don't be afraid to trade the Dailies for you working guys and gals. They generally have nice runs per reversal.... give it a try....

TMS being the 5-Method is a technical trading methodology therefore you need to add your own Money Management and make it your own system. Your trading psychology Mental Strategy is another subject matter not talked about much.

Big E was a rule-based discretionary trader. He often did not follow his basic rule Post#6 - TDI for entry and exit. He also did not always exit his trades at 6AM PDT. He has his 'variations' to when to exit a trade.

I suggest instead of reading from page 246 post 3676, everyone wanting to follow the trading journey of Big E should read from Post #1 of that thread title Craig Harris Stochastics Method and learn EVERYTHING, learn every of the other methods he shared in that old thread. Watch those videos he posted links to and learn them too.

Enjoy your learning journey. I did enjoyed my learning journey and accomplished plenty, and now taking trades is a breeze. It just part of the puzzle.
