and this is my very long term view for EURUSD (OR DXY)
I do not trade it but this is how i would if i had billions sitting around
in regards to the conversation made previously

i am 100% technical and dont give a damn if there are news out there, i will still take a trade if my technicals align even if trump tweets. i dont give a damn

i also dont use indicators, drawings, boxes, fibo, trendlines, support, resistance or anything.
my charts are clean

all drawings on the chart are for you guys to understand what i am seeing.

Once this stochastic useless indicator start turning bullish, this pair will go further down.

You are right, USD is worlds reserve currency.

I don't know what you mean by "crumble"...in a quantitative sense I guess. Some may say what has happened over the past few months is the USD has crumbling.

Again don't know what you mean by crumble...BUT I don't see any other currency replacing the USD as worlds reserve currency.

USD is also currently and has been a safe haven currency.

What do you mean for now the USD is strong...do you mean this little move over the past couple days....if thats the case I would say that rise is due to other risk around the world....hence USD safe haven.....US stocks selling off...rise in Covid in the EU...issues with brexit....

It wasnt because "merchandising is done with it" and some country started buying more of something this week with the USD

where is the technical or what do you mean your 100% technical ....what dose that consist of?

Everyone convinced, USD will crumble. USA has been through much worst economical crisis then covid19. This is nothing for them. Once the economy picks up in a year or two, you will see how strong really is USA. They are all over the world with businesses and military bases. They have allies, and all the major allies that are rich, will not let USA fall down. Use your logic people.

bears still driving so bulls beware....maybe watch the level I have mentioned before as support...any price below that level consider the bear move real....but i feel the bears are still driving this thing...be cautious until then

Just to let you know, that bulls and bears volume indicator is not reliable. In fact, most volume indicators in Forex are useless. Believe me, I know! I learned this lesson the hard way. See OhComeOn's Easy Trend System for a better way to trade.

Ever wondered in what you have the best chances trading? Then an important question is which pair changes direction less often.
Here you see some popular pairs and the number of direction changes on both Hourly and Daily. EURUSD is in the middle of the pack.
Note there is no meaningful difference in the Hourly (difference between most and least is 3%... but on the Daily it is 31%...

(calculations from my own database: better data > better trading)

What works for me is sticking to one pair and getting your 10,000 hour screen time, once you get good at technical analysis, then I would add more currency pairs. I personally think the directional change isn't as important if you stick to the weekly/daily overall trend. If it ranges inter-day, I just keep adding to my positions in the direction of the daily/weekly overall trend.

But what if with pair X you have a 31% larger chance the trend flips the other way than with pair Y? Especially since the %% of quant trades went up, trends on daily and weekly have become less consistent.

Though yes, screen time is very important.

I think every pair has its own movement, and margin requirement. I trade the EU and GJ. I find that the GJ ranges more then the EU. So for GJ I would have profit targets and for EU I would stack the positions on the pull back. So in my opinion it doesn't matter if one currency pair trends more and one ranges more.

I also think the daily and weekly are pretty accurate, but maybe its just me.
