Nat, do you already know how to trade with TDI (BigE's way) to use that TMS monitor?

Sure you can use that monitor and go with the recommendation it signal any time you want. You will still have the same problem you currently have now regarding TDI entry and exit.

Rather focus first on how to use TDI (master / understand) before messing around with other stuff.

Thanks for posting those quotations from the ThreadPerverter aka emmaunel7788: I have him on Ignore so I don't see his posts, so it is convenient that you extracted the parts that do not belong in this thread. (Sure, with him on Ignore I miss a lot of good laughs with his many absurd remarks, but I also am no longer exposed to his blatant mistakes, nonsense, and thread perversions.)

Any intelligent person would long ago have seen that BigE uses exactly 2 indicators in this thread for his 5-method--3 if you count the HA bars--TDI and stochastics.

Here are examples:

EXACTLY! So why does emmanuel7788 say to study the stoch? Because, as with the TDI, he is MIXING SYSTEMS again. He keeps going to the Craig Harris Stochastics thread and telling people in the Trading Made Simple thread to study things that BigE CHANGED in the TMS thread! But sadly, the guy has some serious reading comprehension and/or serious warped ego that prevents him from seeing his MISTAKES and moving into the PRESENT reality.

Sure, everyone could benefit from reading the HISTORY of the DEVELOPMENT of BigEs systems. But when BigE CLEARLY said,

That [Craig Harris’ Stochastics Method] was just one of many methods we discussed. Folks were getting confused by mixing up rules from different methods so this thread will only be about the 5 method.
For anyone with a reasonable grasp of English can see that he is no longer discussing ANY other methods in this thread except the 5-method AS HE PRESENTS IT HERE. So if you have read the CHS thread then you also know that the 5-method presented in that thread is DIFFERENT from the 5-method presented in THIS thread.

I don't wait for TDI cross anymore

Doesn't work for me. Thought i was the only one but i received PMs and saw many posts of people who had issues waiting for TDI cross and had low win rate cos of it

I am using Price action along with TDI angle and stochs direction to trade. Its basically the TMS 5-Method but not entirely.

I am way more comfortable at pin pointing and understanding price crossing the 5-ema than "TDI green cross red, enter at beginning of next candle". Its subjective and many people have different interpretations of that statement it gets confusing. but using candlestick that cross 5-ema as signal to evaluate market conditions and TDI and Stochs angle is way easier and i have a waaay higher win rate with it.

Why did you decide to use "TDI green cross red, enter at beginning of next candle" instead of "TDI green cross red as signal to evaluate market conditions and TDI and Stochs angle" exactly as you said you use a bar cross eme5??

BigE said the green cross red is a SIGNAL to alert you to check other criteria to determine if there is an entry. This repeated posting of "TDI green cross red, enter at beginning of next candle" is flat out wrong! So is it any wonder that newcomers read that, try that, and say that it doesn't work for them? Of course it doesn't work! That is not the proper usage.

How long have you been reading / learning Forex does not matter. I have never seen a member come to understand this method so fast and thoroughly as you have done it.

That is not exactly correct. What he was saying is that the TDI green cross red often occurs sooner than an HA bar closing across the ema5.

This HA bar/ema5 combination is not "price action", just as green cross red is not price action. Therefore, you cannot say "By implication TDI does not lag price action ", because BigE's use of the term "price action" or "PA" is the HA bars.

As I have already posted, he was talking about the SIGNAL of TDI green cross red often occurs EARLIER than the SIGNAL of HA close across ema5, thereby enabling entering at least 1 bar sooner when using the green cross red than when using the HA/ema5.

the TDI #25 RSI green price line will always lag the price action... this is fact until you post live realtime charts to show otherwise.

all the talk here is useless until we see realtime live market charts or better make video capture and post them.

you do not have any realtime live trading experience and no live trades examples to show us here that you can trade and can trade according to Post#261

Don't contact Dean Malone about the TDI. The way he uses it for his method is 180 degrees from how we use it... you need to learn how to use it our way...

The TDI is the heart of our method. It tells you when to enter and where to exit any trades... so review previous posts and learn it good.

HA Candles are important because it makes your trading way less stressful... use them.

Stoch's is nothing but confirmation. If Stoch's & the TDI give different signals... lights flash off and on warning me to take a closer look before entering.. and usually I look for another trade.

5 ema... shows direction currently... only wanting to enter on candle 1 or two. If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter... if not and all looks strong then enter on candle 2... use some discretion... practice on Demo... take some chances and see if yor head computer was right... it's free.

HA Candles... What are their size? If they are small I will usually go find another set up... Look for consolidation... look for how close PA is to supp/res levels... use your brain !

Believe it or not you have to participate and think... until it's so second nature... there is nothing to it... it's so simple... don't complicate it or you will lose...
