Ok, Repainting is basically recalculating past candle info making lines to change shape and also causes of shifting crossovers

No one wants to type this long ass sentence. Thats why we just say

Repainting crossovers.

Whole point is that this changes the positon or candle the crossover occured

@mtako -- you misunderstood me...

I understand you were joking -- but you were also mocking my attempt to get to the bottom and nail things down. Some people -- many people -- when they become embarrased will try to wiggle-out of acknowledging their mouth spoke before their brain had a chance to filter it.

I happen to like what @Tekkies and @emmanuel7788 are doing with this thread. Though they disagree, they both present a lot of good information and they both strive to be exact. It seems that @Nat.Fx and you are not too interested in exactness -- and that's fine. But we should be clear that "disinterest in exactness" is probably not the best trading skill to have. Just saying...

Friends, you must know. Over the years of using this system, slightly edited I have officially made over 1 million dollars in profit this past week. I'd rather not bring money into the topic, but I can honestly say it is too exciting for me. Starting out as a garbageman, then leaving it behind. Took a chance and it worked out.

You will never get a mentorship from me except tips. You will not know my thinking. You will never truly know Big E's thinking. I thank God for big E to point me in the right direction and use the system to my advantage. Everyones mind is different. The system gives you an advantage. That's all you need, an advantage. All I say is look closely at that charts. Look how price moves up and down. Look what the indicators are showing when they move. Look at highs. Look at lows. Look at direction. Look at support/resistance. Make it work for you. Use your own mind. Cheers friends. Make sure THERE IS NO DOUBT it will work most of the time. God bless!

Do you understand that an indicator is very simple algebra. Matter of fact, so is an EA. So, if you can rely on an indicator for signals then why couldn't you rely on an EA for signals? They use the exact same algebra.

An indicator doesn't repaint "automagically" -- it has to be coded that way. If an indicator's algebra does not use recent data to go back in time to change a chart's markings, then it doesn't repaint. TDI's algebra does not go back in time to change markings. If you don't believe me, then check the source code or ask someone to help you.

I understand Robot,

Its just that sometimes whenever i wait for TDI cross and stochs direction, i miss market momentum and i see myself in 30 pips loss. That's why i use Big E's other method. That suites me better

EDIT: @mtako -- this is another example of why exactness in language (and forex) is important. Though I clearly was addressing you and made an attempt to be exact about that by prefacing my sentence with @mtako, you can see that it still led to another misunderstanding with @Nat.Fx. And that's because we disagree about the importance of "exactness".

Also you guys shouldn't pressure or attack anyone for slightly editing Big E's system. Phil edited the strategy slightly to suit him. If i or anyone else do the same, it doesn't make me or them disobedient or non-chalant. Big E and I are two different people with possible different trading persona and preference. You don't expect me to just use the strategy directly, word for word, I'll have to tweak it to suit me better.

With my experience, The best and consistent trading results comes when you trade with a strategy you are comfortable with

I actually agree 100% with the importance of "exactness" in using terms in a serious context, but were just joking around here, we are NOT in a serious context.
