We all been there. That is what you need to work on. You said it. Be patient. Pick the pairs that don't have USD if that is frustrated for you. There are a lot of good pairs like EURGBP, GBPCHF, AUDNZD, AUDCAD and so on. Low volatility and beautiful trends.

Unfortunately you can't escape from USD. Every pair going through USD to created.
For example: EUR/GBP= EUR/USD + GBP/USD

Just keep doing your thing, and if you are not comfortable trading USD, you don't have to. I mentioned the cross pairs and can be traded and earn good profit. I know I've earned great profits on the pairs mentioned. I sometimes ignore USD and sometimes when there are opportunities I trade it. It depends of the situation.

give up now, and your failure is permanent. Keep trying... eventually you’ll get it. Have you ever failed a test in school at any grade level?? Why did you keep going??
investment isnt easy, remember that. Losing is part of the process. When you lose, there is a lot to learn.
my only advice to you is. I blew up 20k when I first started as a first year college student learning forex blindly. If you quit now, the money you have left over will be spent on vacay/shopping/partying/drinking which bring 0 returns. Keep taking your spending money and soend it on investment but always do it in a learning manner not a gambling manner.
Trade what you see, take what the market gives you.

If I were you I'd take a break and analyze what went wrong. There are three aspects in order of importance:

1) risk management
2) mind (impulsive trading, revenge trading etc.)
3) the trading strategy (is your strategy profitable in a demo account?)

I'm sure you can find the reason and will come back stronger.

Just seeing this. Productive posts by @techanalyst, @vule and @mrbullbear. Positive posts to encourage and help a fellow trader; that's the right spirit mates. Interesting to note that @here2there knows the problem, which is the beginning of productive action to resolve it.

Try replacing quantity with quality!

Pick your battles wisely...

Figure out your errors. Track everything you do with data then study and improve it.

I wouldn't mind collectively working on a trading system/plan/strategy

seems as though euro wants to go down....so I am at a point where I am either going to load and hold longs or shorts.

me holding shorts will depend on daily close outside of channel shared before otherwise anytime price hits lower line on channel ill take longs

EDIT: I mean this really seems like the drop some were waiting on

Beware of the 1.17500 area as it is the operating horizontal support. A retest and bounce off the area is likely to yield a bullish move potentially targeting the 1.18820 area, which is presently the operating horizontal resistance.

After tomorrow, I am going to take a month off from Forex Factory. Will be trading on my 4H charts, goal is to think about Forex very little and keep it simple. Wish all of you good luck, and will see you soon. By the way, my walking plan did NOT work, she just kept saying uh huh, I see, and made me keep walking. Guess I will be walking for the next 30 days by the water and looking for shells. Stay green everyone.

Think I will just start digging in on the bear move...may look to TP around 1700 give or take or sometime mid next week

edit: 1865 is my SL and sell anything close to it
