No lot sizes will give new or struggling traders any hope. If anything, itll give them false hope. They will try to make a lot of money with bigger lots and small size account like $1000, and they will end up burning. Ive been there years ago and im talking from experience. You should never and i mean NEVER, show your account to anyone UNLESS, you are offering some kind of services and you need to prove it that your services are profitable. I have a lot of money in my trading account and real estates. There are rookies here ITCHING big time to see it, calling me liars and so on. I will not show my account to anyone. I share charts and entries and exits with SL and TP day to day. If you want to see if it works, take my sharing into consideration and test the strategy.

As for rookies here calling me names, well who cares. That is all they are and they will never be full time traders. They eventually fade away from here and never comeback to FF. Instead of trying to learn they criticize experienced traders. But like i said, Ive accomplished a lot for me and family, and im very proud of it. Let the rookies eat their nerves out with unsuccessful trading. They will eventually, go back to their other jobs and work there until retirement.
Rookies need to appreciate that there are a lot of us successful retail traders that are sharing info for free. So rookies need to be thankful and appreciate that we are taking the time and effort to share that info for free. So who cares if the criticize, that is what failures and losers do.

I am not a teacher, I am sharing my trades so others may see the style of how I trade. It is to give them another way of trading. I share some favorite quotes, to help them with their mentality. Food for thoughts help us eliminate hindrances that clouding our judgement. I am not here to impress anyone. If some of you get impressed, learn from it, you see my entry point, my flipping, and the way I use trailing SL.. But don't force me to walk around naked in public. With regards to your concern about psychology, we all deal with that. There's a lot of way to improve it. But believe me, showing you my account and lot size is not one of them.

With regards to the other trader you mentioned. You said it right, he acquired amazing skills. But your concern is, if what he is showing is demo. You know what, when I was following him, what I see is his skills, his great insights, his way of viewing the market. I don't even care if it's a demo or real, I don't care if he's using small or big lot size.. all I care is to learn.

The problem with some of you, you only see the specks in the window, you missed the beauty of the view. A brotherly advice, if you really want to learn, focus on the positive side, pick what you see that are valuable and help you grow, disregard what is not. You won't grow that way. I take you and me as an example. I improve how I trade because of him. And you, did you learn anything from him? Did you improve? No... becouse what you are focus on is his lot size and whether if its a demo.
You will be what you will to be

Yeah I find it odd that they said the person is good, really good apparently. But somehow seeing the demo changed that....

I would like to know who this person is, I would like to what I can learn. Demo or not.... If they are winning then I can apply that to my love account if it's obvious this person has a winning system

Seems that several traders here have some history with each other and since issues with someone....

Seems like some people are really taking issue with traders not showing order size....Im not mad at them asking maybe someone will share and start sharing....

But if you ask someone to share their order sizes.... The person asking should do the same

I hate when people asking someone to proof their accounts, such a newbie move for real. we sharing our ideas, thoughts, charts, our entries and exits(not selling signals) no one from experienced traders care about someone's lot size. if someone trading with 0.01 oh well we all been there , don't give up and your 0.01 will turn in 0.10 , 0.20, and so on.

We should never follow a Trader blindly.
If the fake trader is always accurate, it is his misfortune that he have no capital, and his lost if he lack the guts to trade. Unless his real motive is a career in "FX coaching"
Declaration of finance status of any sort in a forum is meaningless due to lack of verification.

If a new trader has found a senior who is accurate, be it fake or real, be glad that you can learn from his trades and also his mistakes, while you make your own trade decision based on your risk tolerance.

I really salute those who takes time to contribute to this forum, as from a reader's perspective, its kinda surreal to look at what everyone is doing and learn (or avoid) a few things!

My own view.

This thread is one of the best thread on FF
Although I do not visit other threads often

This 59k page thread has more than 40k pages of knowledge
10k pages of trader sucess
And remaining argument between traders at time.

I am always thankful to all those sharing knowledge Trading style etc
I am not bothered if they Trade 0.01 or 1.00
Bcoz it wil depend on what I will Trade how many lots size I can afford.

So I only concentrate on learning not there Trading size or profit amount
As you learn you earn

Thanks to all and special thanks to Vule BullBear and PaitenceFx

Happy Learning Trading and Earning

Technical Analysis is a tool to measure risk/reward ratios, not predict, thats it..
Ignored
this statement is not correct.

technical analysis is a close relative of algorithmic trading, which simply means that you are using math to make your trading decisions.

technical analysis is used to:

*decide if you are long or short or neutral.

*determine entry price and exit price.

*decide how many lots to trade.

risk analysis is only one piece of the technical analysis puzzle.

trader harneet is wrong.

Most of what you said are related to risk reward reward. The only one that is not is, decision of, if going long or short. But if you base your decision with indicators, you know you're gonna be fucked up in the long run right? It's sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Anyways, i don't do R:R ratio, that is not what I like about the quote. I just like the way he mention all those indis and say none of them knows where the market is going.

As I mentioned in my previous post, it should be a trader's decision totally, whether to reveal his trade size/account size or not, and I fully respect a trader's decision.

Struggling trader does not always mean a losing trader. There can be a struggle for a trader, who is much comfortable and winning with a 4 digit account, but unable to handle a proportional bigger sizes with a 5 digit account due to psychological factors. IMHO, observing a fellow trader who is handling a 5 digit or 6 digit account with ease can help him to learn and develop psychological trading aspects.

I have read a book called "Chronicles of a million dollar trader: My road, valleys, and peaks to final trading victory". This trader blogged publicly about his trading almost everyday for a year, revealing his account size, trades etc. and made more than a million dollars in a year. Blog still exists. Blog content has been turned into that book. When I read that book it inspired me and has given me a strong belief that even retail traders trading from their home can make million+ dollars per year!

probably the most basic and most important part of technical analysis is about deciding to go long or short or neutral.

this is the sixty four million dollar question.

this is the thing that baffles traders, not risk:reward..

risk and reward calculations are simple.
