So last week the ECB says they are concerned about the rising Euro, and today they effectively say they are not worried about it at all. Will the real ECB please stand up, lol. I guess the only logical thing to do is wait until after the press conference to see if we can break out of our small range. Seems like if 1.17 breaks we should test support at 1.15, if 1.20 breaks then it looks like 1.25 should be next. I'm hoping for something interesting tomorrow, 1.176 to 1.186 is too narrow of a range for me.

The price action on EURUSD is typical sideways /choppy garbage which screws a lot of retail traders. Few scalpers are likely doing well.

I am going back to the Daily and looking to trade a different pair.

Nobody is checking why price is ranging at a high level, let me explain. Price changed direction on the Daily chart, MA's flipped to uptrend. Price is staying high so it will flip the MA's on the weekly chart. Then it will cycle down to the Daily MA's form the Dip, and continue higher. The 4H MA's have to flip down(MACD crossed down), so that it can pull the Daily back into the MA's. If you draw the 50 EMA, 100 EMA, and 240 LWMA you will see what I am talking about. When the 50 and 100 EMA's flip, that is basically 12,26,9 MACD crossing. So when I am ready to long, I am looking to enter on the LL's on the 4H downtrend chart to ride the Daily up. However, in the mean time, we can ride the 4H down trend using the 30M chart and entering short when price is in the MA's. We trade AWAY from the MA's. But know that price will be resuming the uptrend after this new breath of air. Easier to see with the chart, but I will do that later, am busy right now with a honey do from wife.

If Daily MA trend is up, and 4H chart MACD is down we will range. Same scenario set up on other time frames. Understanding price action is very important to making Forex easy. Draw the vertical lines on the 50 EMA and 100 EMA cross and flip back and forth on time frames and you will see how it works. Gotta go.

Alright, I drew the lines on my 4H chart where MACD Platinum crosses 0.00(Not Dots). Then took picture of 30M chart so someone could see the MA's flipping that create the wave for the 4H to move back into the MA's and away from the MA's. Now the highlighted boxes are quick suggestions where you would place long trades for the 4H trend on 30M chart or just scalp the 30M chart and using no indicator except Supply and Demand. I only highlighted a few, there are a lot more on the chart but just wanted to provide insight on my previous post. Well, gotta go bbq now, been marinating beef fajitas for 2 days and am starving.

If you don't want to use the Platinum, just draw lines where the 50 and 100 EMA's cross on 30M. Now look at the 4H. Hope this helps to simplify things. Do the same thing on the daily and look at 4H chart if you want to trade higher time frames.

sorry guys been busy all day. Will have to catch up on readings. Eu is only sell. Look to sell in my opinion. Tmr News could be big. Sadly BoC didnt run today.. but I guess it only runs when conference is around. Bought uc at 1.3146... as for eu, I will enter tomorrow before the news.. however I do will attempt as tiny short her 1.1803 as you have said 4h bb in play.
