Took a short @ 1.1865 with SL @ 10 pips, will be stopped out probably and I am counting on my long from yesterday @ 1.180.. price may test 1.188-1.190, let's see.. I am just trying to position myself on both ends @ BE until NFP numbers come out, because I think we may get some good bullish or bearish move today and the price may set a clear direction for Monday [I could be totally wrong] overall my bias is bullish as long as 1.180-1.170 holds, let's see.

so far what Insee about NFP vs my chart.

I would look to short eu at the last minute...
I will be looking to buy UC today bc I want both Usd news and cad news to double push the pair. Like a gtr skyline with nitrous just sky rocketing


and eu may reach 1.1875 for the short entry by 8:29 possibly.

My view may change But I will inform you guys couple of minute before the news. In the mean time. Gl scalping this morning.

Closed half of the short in about 20 pips, rest running @ BE @ 1.1865 .. it's now half the size of my long that's positioned @ 1.180 since yesterday. Let's see.

if you are looking to sell before nfp... and thinking there wont be a spike... I usually would short last minute and set another sell order 20pips above it to catch the spike and if no spike, I would already be in the market. Same thing for buyers.

Looking at daily seems the spike to 1865 was to take out sellers SL who had kept above yesterday high

news is that special event that helps move the market to where it needs to be.. right now you are looking at 1.2000 vs 1.1700. My special opinion is that it is time we break either side. If it does not run, cool. But if it do, I would be looking to catch the trend and ride pass 1.1700 or 1.2000.
Not sure how hard nfp run. Im at the gym atm. I will analyze at 8 and let you guys know..

but pull back to the last 10nfp and study everyone of it.. go back last months nfp vs your chart on the 5min and then 30min and look at the PA(movement).

You see, I bet on eu to drop meaning USD will gain strength. In order to move a lot... it will breakout one side and start expanding the bb to have room and push hard to the other side. That is why I call for 1.1875... could even be a bit higher. But that my view for sell. Same for buys as well. Buyers could be looking around 1.1820ish... let the market draw itself and we just smile big and watch it xD

I quoted just for discussion.

I like the volatility that NFP offers and the reaction when everyone agrees, but if, there is the opposite - a surprise in the numbers, then it can be profitable too and some times better.

so my question is... are you trading according to the numbers?? Or are you expecting a surprise number and trade according to the surprise number??
