The video even addresses the idea of global digital currencies. This suggests there will likely be a variety of digital currencies to choose from for payments on a global scale. It is doubtful Bitcoin will ever be one among these, as it is too slow, too expensive, and too volatile. The video already addresses this. And I can tell you from my own experience with it that it would never work. Bitcoin sucks for payments! However, Bitcoin will likely remain a store of value in the digital currency world, kind of like digital gold.
I believe in about 5 to 10 years, maybe less, money will be very different from what we know of it today.
