What's the ob/os oscillator saying cause from my point of view we're extended.

Wave 4 38% inside wave 1, that rings a bell, we was just looking at Elliot 4th wave rules the other day need to look at old post from last week...

EDIT: Elliott said wave 4 typically retraces less than 38% of 3 but we're just above 61% of wave 3 and it's 38% into territory of 1. 4th wave rule obliterated 4 times I can see in the last few days. I said wave 4s are a flat correction following sharp 2, he says there will be sharp flat sharp flat alternation, so it's violating both versions of the GUIDELINE of alternation. It's also over extended quite a bit... stretching expansion laws. Very extended sub 7. Sharp 4s are strange they've got a certain look about them that I'm trying to define. They're very symmetrical internally. 4 has no parallel but itself 1<7, 2 < 6, 3 < 5 they share traits but 4 is all alone in this regard it's only parallel to itself and has a more defined look to it internally it's all parallels..?

Indeed, that is another way to look at it. I know of a guy who has a very effective strategy for trading doji candles. What he does is place a hedge (buy stop and sell stop at the high and the low) wherever he sees them and uses a tight stop loss. Price tends to break out from such candles.

If I were to do this, however, I would only place a pending order in the direction of the main trend rather than using a hedge. I might change that some day, but I have issues I need to work out with my trading, so I would rather be more conservative for now.

Last month was all enteries were right but was getting Stopped Out at BE

way to adjust/evolve.

how many trades did you close last month.. or how many do avg

not a losing trade all month last month? I personally don't count it a win if I close at BE.

edit: i close about 144 per month

The month of june, I went on 3 weeks winning trades before losing one small trade but all 4 weeks was big gains.

i now try to avg by weekly And monthly.

june i closed 150 trd with 45% winning rate....was bad month for me...I am usually above 50%

Guys please I'm struggling with my EA. It's loaded successfully with all variables intact. The smiling emoji ia there without any comment in at the journal column of
MT4. I don't know how to code. I got it from a friend. Please what canbcan the problem? I badly need help

Well... from the time I buy since 1.1190 all the way up to 1.1650... (took a small 40pip lost) and continue to buy to 1.1800 was a big gain.. then I started to attempt shorts and buys and short and my call % start to drop.

Inwould say from 1.1190-1.1650 would be the sickest trade of my life... probably about 90% calls correctly.

right now, I would say 75-85%

I think it's better if you ask someone to take a look at it in trading systems threads.

as for BE. I count it as a win bc I dont lose... and sometime I refuse to tp and it reverse and I end up BE. But if you count percentage of BE vs winning its probably around 90%ish???


edit* ahhh, eatlier I also attempted a buy at 1.1859/1.1862 exit for 1 pip lol...

it will definitely close below.. when I saw the 4h candle gap from my bb and its expands.. that was the key for me to sell with no hesitation... we will see below 1.1820...

not many traders have a win rate above 90% with a RR worth it....you are Rain Man

EDIT: but the more trade you make the chance of your win% goes down some.....I think i could do 100% a week if i only did one trade a week and counted BE as win
