We’ll just have to wait and see... but I am planning to look to “buy puts” risk of perhaps 500-2k range for a chance to make a good 10k+... same thing risk 1:5 ratio.

I think if you want to earn serious money in forex. You need a bigger capital. Possibly $25,000 and more. You can start with any amount, but risk is risk and if you have small deposit, and something goes wrong, it will wipe out in a second. I think starting with a bigger balance, of course with money management, and strategy and experience, you can turn that money into 6 digits and more. Just my opinion.

yes, I completely agree with you)
it was just an example with $ 100, so that it was understood that 10% per week, without withdrawal of funds, is more than 14000% per year)
edit:you may have a smaller account, from 10 000$, but you need not to withdraw from it for some time, in order to then live on% of this account, without increasing the risk

Consider last week Friday supports seemed pretty strong and if price makes it down there again (1883 area round about) you may want to consider trailing your stop...just a thought! Friday was a sign the bulls are still around IMO. Bulls did meet a good resistance area also, which seems to still be holding...but getting tested!

Again just sharing a different view.

EDIT: I wouldn't be mad if it played out as double top retracing to the 1800

Understood. Just sharing another perspective...I wouldn't dare say right or wrong there....
Plus its a decent news week for USD....so who knows.

Anyone here has documentation on their trading strategy....In particular how to enter and exit a trade? Meaning like a set of rules that determine where to buy or sell and set TP and SL.

Seems like most people here kinda take positions from how they feel about what they see in the market

It can be volatile with low volume and big orders causing price swings outside normal moves
