DislikedAlright guys, most of you won't agree.. but here me out and think about this. Name a trader who isn't gambling? We are all gambling here. The moment you place an order, without certainty that your investment will return 100%, you took a gamble. The moment you push the buy or sell button, knowing that you may lose this trade but push it anyway... you gamble! Cheers!!!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Not pulling out of a woman that is just your "friend" is a big gamble tooIgnored
Disliked{quote} exactly....you do the best to put the odds in your favor. Poker is gambling....but you play the odds....your not just shooting in the dark....you gamble with logic/odds in your favor. shooting in the dark after someone spins you around is another story lolIgnored
Disliked{quote} How old are you? I didn't say a person can't win like that. Even people who gamble win. But dumb luck eventually runs out. In short, it is highly risky and more often than not leads to loss. By the way, there is no need to use such filthy language! You make yourself like uneducated by talking like that.Ignored
Disliked{quote} what is gambling....that's just your lack of understanding/knowledge because you don't know why they went long...you called it gambling ( although its all gambling) you were meaning i am sure that that person had no basis for taking that position other than a shot in the dark. you down talk this forum...for lack of teaching and learning.....but failed to take that oppurtity to ask that person why go long (possible learning oppturutiy for you and him) instead you say your gambling....how can you not see how you are wrong....why cant your...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Jumping into a trade as a result of FOMO is gambling. However, it's not gambling when technical analysis is used to calculate probabilities. Yes, you can still lose. But that is not the point. Trading should be treated like a business. I don't know of any professional traders who see it as a casino.Ignored
Disliked{quote} First, I consider my risks in trading, the reason for entering, I look at dxy as a filter. I'm looking at what the market is doing now. There was a good shake-up for buyers before the news. The price was so high that it shook out a lot of unnecessary buyers, and then sellers piled up. Dxy grew up like a rocket, made 200% ADR today. And when dxy stop, i'm entered. Just holding my plan and trying trade on market not charts, But doing it sometimes) trade safeIgnored

Disliked{quote} Some call it FOMO, some call it opportunity. The only difference is, if you lose, you call it FOMO, if you win, you call it opportunity. Cheers! By the way, poker players also calculate their riak and probabilities. And business is a gamble, you can be beated by competitors and file bankruptcy. You lose or win.. it's a gamble.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I appreciate you giving that explanation. But what it really comes down to is a state of indecision, which means the risk was higher to trade it. You won. I am happy for you. But it won't always turn out like that. And things could potentially get very ugly trading like that. My point is to trade with less risk. Trading against strong momentum is too risky in my opinion, especially when large lots are involved.Ignored
Disliked{quote} We clearly have a different understanding of gambling, and frankly, I don't like you. So the conversation ends here.Ignored
