One of the things that bothered me about my GU buy is that when I entered, there was an element of a sell set-up already in place for me.

I think that the GBP itself is not doing much of anything, and if we look at the USDX, it doesn't know what to do at all. I could be wrong, but if GBP and USDX have no direction and no power, we can't trade GU with any certainty that the price will even move to base 1.

I hope you're right. Its's only been about 6 hours so far I don't trade patterns, more of a S&R PA guy, but I know what an inside bar is, but what is a "corkscrew" inside bar? You mean the coil that's kinda shaping up?

It seems we're just waiting for the next news. I see there was comment (yesterday?) that the USD's poor showing was down to a surge in covid cases in Florida. What next? Trump being less than statesmanlike? Sorry, I'm being silly now.

I think I've got the right term. Yes, it's when there are successive inside bars: IB2 is inside IB1.

Just noticed the same pattern (almost - by 0.1 pips) on the Daily. Would the theorists therefore predict a large move on H1?
