This was a good day for day traders. But no big moves on higher time frames. Next week we should see 1.2.

Weekly closing in red was required to continue the trend up
However still it has to now test 1.1700 support before starting to go back up. This is my opinion

I feel next week 1.16xx level to come

Under "Advanced Search Options", a "Thread ID" is required for a forum thread search. I can't see the ID # for this or any other thread.
I've read the User Guide. No help. Does anyone know where thread ID's can be found?

The bears wanted to come out and play a little, I was kind of hoping this would happen so I can potentially add more longs but I'm going to keep my eye on the 1.1728 - 1.1722 level as shown in the chart.

Current long positions:

  1. 1.1197
  2. 1.1708
  3. 1.1712

Well if you didn't trade using tech analysis, you were than gambling? Technical analysis is supply/demand, price action, wave analyst, pattern analyst, day trading, scalping and so on. That is all consider technical analysis. There is no other thing in trading. So were you gambling?

Yes, a good reason to have a thread ID so that you can do a Forum Search... but where do you find the Thread ID?

my god... I went through 150pages to find it and still couldn’t find it. It is a lot to explain.

as I recall.
I use weekly candle to determine if the week is bullish or not with bb opening outward. Then I would decide to only buy, or only sell.... so I would locate my buy/sell...
for now Ima use buy as an example only

back when EU was at 1.1420. I called for buy only given the fact that weekly and monthly was still in play towards upper side bb on a breakout.
so I would add on buys only... all the way till 1.1650.... at the time 1h/4h were all above the center bb(yellow line). Every time the 30min/1hr touches center bb, I would add on buy. I was that CONFIDENT base on weekly showing me upside ONLY. So when 5min/30min/1h bb were being broken.... I would go to the 4h and look for the center bb, there I realize 4h center bb was never tested... I 100% was sure to buy at 1.1740 and loaded up.

pretty much I base my calls on weekly/monthly.

it is hard to explain everything all in one. Try to read daily and you’ll understand. Because I dont just Throw out signals but I also trade them myself, and explain them as I go.

today my explanation is really off. My brain is a bit fried.

if you really really really want to learn. Try to Start from Friday’s page. Thats where I bought eu 1.1790 and exit 1.1940 on monday... then sold 1.1940 on tuesday and exit 1.1840 (I did call for 1.1800, i was just impatient) and then buy from 1.1800 (i actually entered late at 1.1813) exit around 1.1867... and today I sold at 1.1863 (from waking up late).
as you read it, pull up your chart and slowly go over it.

COT reports are out. EURUSD analysis. So this move down was possibly because commercials were majority of short 591,573 and 2,470 added to short positions.

Looking at non-commercials which are banks and financial institutions, which are the most important. Longs are still majority 259,244 but -6,834 took off their positions.
Shorts are minority which are 62,301 and they took off their positions -4,026.

Overall EURUSD is bullish, as we can see the majority of institutional traders are in favor for longs. I have attached the 4 HR chart and it shows in the blue box why and where did EURUSD started selling. But it is temporary. Next week we should see this going up possibly to 1.2.
Also take a look at dealers positions majority are in short. So this bearish move was also caused by that. But looking at asset managers institutional and non commercial I am going with them and holding my long positions on EURUSD. Longer term charts, this will go to about 1.25.
But this happens and traders close their positions, they jump in to sell, hold it and eventually this turns around goes up knocks everyone out, take the stop losses and over and done money is lost. IF you are trading like I do, remember use smaller lots, place stop loss and take profits, and hold. When it starts going your way, add more positions but always keep small lots, and it will add up and you will make very good money. It is an opinion, you are free to do what you want with your strategy and your money. This is not a financial advice. It is just traders sharing opinions.
