Hi,

I'm new to this system. I've done already some backtesting, and so far it looks pretty promising, but I got some questions.

I understood that you enter with two trades and close one after it's in profit after Day 1.
But what if the first position is in loss after Day 1? Keeping it in until SL is hit or close the trade altogether?

And second question is, do you use any other indicators, besides the ones from BK8?
Maybe an exit indicator or one that indicates a sideway market?

Hello and welcome.
1. There are some profs around. Hope they will tell you about sl and closing. If it does not go my way, I'm out. If it is a matter of some small pips I let it go on just for study. Backstudying your remarks when or when not to go in, are good lessons. You learn to understand f. x. sideways patterns.
2. You can use Macd-sometimes its signal fits with high or low bb.

I remember Bk8 mentioning on several occasions that when a candlestick crosses SMA5 again in the direction of a trade we should add to our previous position.
Fridays CS did just that with a bullish engulfing of Thursday’s CS. The difference with July 23 is that we now have an important Fibo just above (61.8) but RSI doesn’t show the pair as overbought. On the weekly the pair is above BB middle band and RSI just over 50 with room on both time frames till upper BB.

EURNZD follow up.

Took 200 pips profit on half of my position and leave the other half at break even.

Hi,

i am new to FF not new to FX though. This strategy seems promising for me among the strategies what I have been gone through in FF.

What fascinating is if we can get right set up and stick to the post#1 then it’s completely stress free.

I am going to use this strategy on my Live account.

Just one remark based on my own addiction of indicators. Similar conditions occurred on June 18 and July 15. Since price action is right on the Bollinger middle band I would prefer to have a confirmation of either RSI crossing below 50 or MACD in bearish cross over.

P.S. your chart is seemingly showing SMA5 but with shift 3 which was later abandoned as reflected in the updated post#1.

This is the kind of setup I like.
First chart reflecting Bk8 strategy and second chart as confirmation with weekly Ichimoku.
The BB squeeze on the daily is worth our consideration.
