I understand CCI, and played with it in my past when I thought lagging indicators would be the road to wealth. But for me that journey only led me to disappointment.
I was specifically asking in my response to this post if you had conducted solid analysis to validate that a CCI divergence improved just a pure roadmap failed crossover trade.
For July and August, for the failed crossover set up, in actual trades I had 17 such trades and hit 71% winners, without a lagging indicator. Pure price action rules.
Without the analysis, I am not interested in cluttering up my charts and brain with more data that provides no value to improve my performance. It is easy to think more is better, but more without statistical proof it adds value is a waste and causes indecision.
Maybe you can make it work for you and I wish you the best that it will lead to success.

Here is another one, bias up, looked left and the resistance exists on higher timeframes. the other trade was bad behavior and was indeed not rewarded. I took it after breakout from the blue resistance

another clue is that failed trade cross US session, started in Euro session, stopped in US session.
other success trades, one in Euro session only, another one in US session only.

Intriguing observation!
I keep screen shots of every trade, so will go back and see if there is a correlation with crossing sessions this weekend!

Note the push to new high(blue line)
the price retreats with lower highs each bar until a higher high bar (that is your first chance for a possible base)(redbox)
then price retreats again with lower highs until a lower higher high bar (that is the second possible base) (blue box)
then again for the third and in this case last base (yellow box)
Note the price is basing just above the early Asia session SR area...
The rest of the trade should be self explanatory on the chart.....
MTF and RSI were what was showing at the time of taking the trade.
