as my final target is @1.3155 I have to use the daily in order to show it..but trade was taken using the 15 min chart

PA smashed through my target as usual when I've bailed out.

Patience is probably my biggest weakness especially straight after a loss.

So wary of getting hit with another loss and calling it a day.

apart from this pair the rest of pound pairs was quite easy to read imo

I don't know why you abandoned this trade ..it is such a good trade..if I didn't have gcad and gchf short I would have gone for gaud

Yes, I was in that and watching it closely before I lost badly while pips were readily available on GA and GJ. Now stuck in EJ where there's a plot to send me to sleep before it races up and hits my stop.

The only other 2 GBP pairs I watch are G/cad and G/aud, both gave sell signals to me and I went with G/A but s**t it when price pulled back and pulled the plug.

Never had a clear buy signal on G/U but got fed up of waiting so jumped in too early proving again that patience, or the lack of, is my weakness.

perhaps you were too conscious of wanting to show a profitable trade that you forgotten to trade..just act normally, losing is just a pause for you to learn and improve..don't get bothered down with having a bad trade...take it as a lesson and learn from your mistake and you will soar again

I agree with you, but more than the 'pressure to perform' syndrome, we each go through a slump in form from time to time. That's the same for golfers, cricketers, snooker players, racing car drivers, and, and, and.....it's all part of the cycle! Most of these other disciplines, whether they be sports or occupations have a fairly large dose of discretion involved, same as trading does and sometimes we get it wrong. A golfer may choose the wrong club or allow too much deviation for the wind, or misread the slope of the green etc etc...in short, shit happens, and it happens to us all. In this journal people can see when it happens to us, and imo that's a good thing because it shows that it really does happen, and it happens to us all and no one is exempt. It's not like some of the threads (most of them in fact) where the trader makes huge gains and very rarely loses....and it's always after-the-fact.

I've made several bad calls over the past couple of weeks and I've misread the PA. That's not to say that the PA has been easy....it hasn't, but that's no excuse, and I'm not making any excuses either! My account is still in great shape because even though I've lost more trades than I've won over the past couple of weeks, the losses are all small so the total loss is also small.

So on we go in the knowledge that a few bad trades is a hiccup, not a death sentence, and today is a brand new day!!

+10p and i moved sl to be as i need to start homeschooling lessons for.my kids

second thought i just took 7p. no point leaving that to hit sl when 90% chance it will even if upside is decent
