Disliked{quote} ok, just to flesh this out without being over pedantic... how much weight do you put in the opening gap of the pacific/asain market? For me, I am biased to London and NY open but if you have some insight I would love to hear it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I consider it strongly but ultimately watching how it plays out over time.... But I consider the fact "who" had access to fx when the market isn't open to retail on what they are doing.... Edit: are you waiting to see what retail traders do in those sessions?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I don't wait for retail traders. I view retail traders as the sirens to odysseus. But I do like to hear the song of some sirens just in case they are singing the path to riches...Ignored
Disliked{quote} More volume. Don't get me wrong, I love asian sessions but, from my experience price action moves dramatically more between 2am and 11am (Kansas City, Missouri Time) ... I might be wrong about this but I have not been able to find a correlation between the asian open and the direction of price action during London/New York. (minus the obvious days like back in the middle of March)Ignored
Disliked{quote} I agree session volume. Don't know if it was clear but the price movement I was talking about earlier was before market opened; before Asian session started.Ignored
Disliked{quote} wait... hold on a minute... are you trying to tell me that a misunderstanding on a forex forum was corrected by one poster saying they were talking about a different time frame/subject than the critique posted by another user????? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ummmmmm suurreeeeee.... I actually don't know if it was misunderstanding...I'll let you call that. Maybe you knew I was talking about price movement be the start of the Asian sessionIgnored
