I've been following this thread for a while and respect all of you here. I've learned quite a bit from just looking at historical posts and charts you've posted in my backtesting. After months of demo trading, learning, and learning some more. I keep up with economic data anyway so that was the easy part.

I probably should've waited but decided to have my first live trade today. People were screaming about the NFP and to be careful. I drew up my analysis, waited for the report to come out, watched that small spike down followed by the move up. My charts were telling me to short around 1.1840/SL: 1.1846.

I secured most of my profit around 1.1800, moved to BE, and have a small position still running. Eh. Just wanted to share my first success and that I'm thankful this forum exists. I can't believe there are posts dating back to 2004!

Eur/usd has made a bigger wave two stopping on 61.8% I want to buy 1.1777 but I already buy at 1845. I'm looking for next sell for me at 1.22

Price was coming back up hit my entry pin bar down into 80 pip drop.
I think we have to get to 1.3 and the waves didn't seem big enough to make that kind of move but now seems to me here we have a 2nd wave of much bigger degree. This is more like what I would expect to see building bigger waves to get so far up...
thought we're in a 5 up and only 2 more swings that didn't make sense to get to target but here it seems 3 not even begun yet and the waves are building to higher degree's.
We're at the back of the reversal zone for this move down it's exhausted...
I suspect that 80 pip pole has to be back filled again...
rarely move that far that fast without completely reversing back over it.

The trade seems to be going the wrong way so I am going to started buying again at 1.1777. Fundamentals say the USD should be weakened by the strong numbers (yea, I know it does not sound logical). August cycles tend to favor a strong USD so F/A and cycles at opposites.

Buying small lots with huge stop (below 1.1577) and will add on pops and drops, targeting the retest of 1.1900

I post my lost trades just as I do with my great trades. I want to be as transparent as I can. Im not here to vent, I do get emotion, but I move on. You post something very broad about your personal life... My excuse is “not seeing a double top, not reading my bb”
your excuse is, my personal life, my wife, my bills, my time zone... want to bet there are thousands of traders in caifornia that makes million?? One thing i learn from you is, I should not allow my inner peace to get trigger from useless post with nothing related to the market.

I try to talk to this guy in a civil way, but everytime I come here, there is at least three posts that he is just complaining. I just put him on the ignore list. That is what I have been doing so far, anyone that I think is a distraction and nothing to do with trading, I put them on the ignore list. Back to trading.

I am holding buy position over weekend. I believe this was a good bearish move, but I strongly believe in my analysis and that we will see 1.25 area. Trade safe.
