I am sure good runs aren't so rare here that traders may need to go out for a 6 months vacation once in a while they hit something. What you are saying about maintaining a lane that's exactly what Tech told Vule that got you fired up and you took a low blow at him and indirectly everyone who posts here. And It's not 'his' method to be precise, all this has been talked about since around 1930s.. after studying these, it works for someone yes very good.. for some maybe not and they don't care about it it's simple as that. No big deal. So just because people are posting here doesn't mean they are struggling with trading. That's about it. Apologies if you still think I am rubbishing a strategy, I am not.

Agreed, to me the market is simply an illustration of human psychology that may or may not depend on various factors. Every candle is telling a story of that particular time period and the most convincing story takes the lead.

I think mostly everybody here would be trading real accounts. I think he means paper trading is different from trading real money, as that involves emotions which is a big factor in trading, unless you master that you won't really master your way of trading. I have seen many people successful paper trading but a disaster as soon as they jump on trading real money, they would get stopped out on precise setups just because they didn't give their stops enough room to breathe, moved to BE quickly to save their positions before verifying if their setup is being respected or not, or even extending their TPs to make more money than they were aiming to previously, and most importantly chasing the losses, which can go very bad. Emotions only play a vital role when it's real money on the line and for many learning to handle them comes once they realize the market doesn't care and will swallow them at any point without blinking. For me, trading is more about skills than money, if you chase the money.. things can go south pretty quick because the limitless potential has the ability to consume you if you don't know how to use it while keeping yourself safe.. it's wise to make sure you live to trade another day because every moment there are opportunities/ possibilities.. you just have to be available to them.

pHyCo 6 to 88%? Or somehow the previous wave terminated prematurely and we're in 6* in the next time frame up and I might have to hold negative for a while. It's seems to have hit start of the reversal area for this mad spike down though. I'm holding long...

That's what I call a Phyco 6inator 88% The widow maker to 18666. I thought it was going to termination to top of 7. Sharp drop unexpected, had to recount 3 to 4 and realized this might only be 6... If the bottom falls out then it's 6* in the higher time frame and won't be deep but we're in the limit zone for the move down. I'm prepared to hold negative and wait for 7.

The bottoms gone we're in higher 6 damn....

I think a lot of profit taking at the top, and possibly sell orders until NFP. In my opinion considering all that's been going on, no major changes in favor of the USD, the price should continue up after a pull back to 1.185-1.180 max. Whatever happens as long as 1.185-1.180 is holding I am with the Bulls. I think USD Index will probably dive back down from around 93-93.5. Time will tell!

Hi Leashedmode, you are correct regarding emotions being a big factor when trading with real money. There is no "re-set" button.
EURUSD is falling hard, as I speak.....
