I try to use every strategy I can. XD. But thanks! Usually my strategy work but lately I have been a bit stubborn trying to go against the trend and scalp it >.>.... yesterday I had a buy on eu at 1.1740 2 lot... closed all of it at 1.1800 to try and trade kiwi unemployment news for 1lot and it kick my butt -13pip. And then I just stayed on sideline and watch eu until this morning. A bit unfortunate that I exit all my eu buy at 1.1800... otherwise I could have ride another 100pip

I don't trade on them alone hardly if ever used them but I don't dismiss them....but I keep a eye on them when I see them. Learn it all if you use it or not....no knock to you Tech!

Bullish Euro for Months to come in my opinion. I'll keep looking to buy the dips. I got rid of my long at 1.0905 but I'm holding another long from 1.1195 and added half a position yesterday at 1.1709. I always start from the top down and based on the Quarterly chart, the falling wedge is in play. I expect some pullbacks but my target is around 1.2800+. Nothing much else to do but let the market keep playing out and let the money do it's thing.

Such patterns don't make you money. They only give direction, which may or may not work out. I think if you only trade in the direction of the prevailing trend, then these patterns could be helpful.
Learn from your mistakes and march on.

Thank you for the advice "follower" but i have been trading 10 years full time. Have my strategy well it is not exactly mine, i try to approach it as professionally as i can. You are more than welcome to learn from anyone here. My character is different i am a leader not a follower. Maybe he took vacation off maybe not who knows. Yes i am here like everyone else in my big dream home a pool in the backyard and a big property where i have a big house and family here with me and my girlfriend is all i ever need is right here at home. All i have to do is step out for groceries. Everything else is here at my big property which i worked very hard for it and proud of it, and everything i need is right here. Its called FAMILY. I hope this somehow puts your comment at ease. Im going to go workout now. You can stay here and learn from others, because you have a very long way to learn about making a living as a full time forex trader. Much different trading live account than demo account. Trade safe.

I made no mention of following him. Of the size of my account.. Or home. lmao. ALL of these things my friend point to just how small, and.. how little you have. Take it easy bro, we all here to have healthy conversations about what we do daily that's it isn't it? I don't think anyone was downplaying anyone in fact he was just advising another trader not to complicate things with patterns but simply sticking to his thing because it seems to be working out well. Won't you agree that harmonic patterns aren't some magic? We literally see them everywhere on a chart, on literally every time frame.. what counts is price action, demand supply and of course major events that drive the prices as well as the big fishes and whichever side they may be swimming.. if all this falls in line with a pattern, it may be a good confirmation and even then nobody knows. Now it's just an opinion doesn't mean I am hating on anyone. The dude who must be on vacation according to you, good for him man and I hope he nails it every single time but what works for one person doesn't work for another otherwise this thread wouldn't be thousands of pages long, just 10 would do it.

what do you mean "Won't you agree that harmonic patterns aren't some magic?" You would have to define magic. I agree they are not magic lol. Because harmonic patterns work just as well as Fibonacci applications. Which I think they are based on Fib sequences....which I guess some may call that magic for lack of a better understanding.

What they call those patterns shouldn't infer its some pseudoscience with names like butterfly and batman and so on.... I mean people come up crazy names for a reason...same as there are crazy names for candle sticks and they have some crazy names

EDIT: and how did you come with up 10 pages being enough for all the trading information you need
