If I understand correctly, the EA takes signals from a variety of trading methods (or simply indicators), and enters individual trades. I'm not using MT4, so won't be testing, but out of curiosity, what are the money management rules for taking the trades? Is it all 1:1 risk to reward, or based on indicators, and I guess you've explained the % of account risked per trade based on risk apetite. Thank you
Its 1:1 fixed for all trades but its dynamic for every rule and signal depending on the entry signal being deployed

thank you. How many strategies are included if I may ask? I've been thinking of having a mix of strategies for manual trading recently to cover both ranging and trending periods on the same pair, hence this looks so interesting to me.

StrategyQuant for generation and other personal developed tools..the normal StrategQuant is basically worthless had to find ways of building my own building structure

In 3 years of trading there was only 700+trades there can be no trades up to 72hours... 24hours without a trade should not be an issue
Hey SchKithZo. Are you familiar with GridHero on mql? The coder cooked it up on SQ too. How do you reckon yours compares to his? His ended up in the same trouble as all other grids seem destined.

EAs made by StrategyQuant (or excessive optimization) are clear examples of the so-called "Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy".

Yer makes sense..but the only way to find out if something works is definitely to find out by putting the underlying object under the microscope and that can only be done by forward testing.. Over 80% of traders fail in the market yet we all are still here hoping we are part of the special 20%..
Trading is all about logic and the application of math and money management to me..if you have a system that trades with fix sl and tp level you dont need that system to even be a winning system as long as you know you systems analytics you can build money management and a whole lot of mechanisms to gear the odds in your favor. But again weather a trading system is worth trading or not depends on how it performs if placed in the Market rings and it get hit with some real trading punches i guess..

You welcome..trades will certainly pop in..In backtest analytics system has gone as far as 5days without trade so lets just hang in there..

The thing is with random flash crashes and Brexit like stuff if the grid doesnt give you a big sl you will be in for long painful dd. Grid hero took a long time to fall over but anyway I wish you the best of luck

When you read the specification of the system SL and TP range is always between 20-100pips if there is a crash its going to still happen in the same range either on 1 or 2 trades...The Griding is only on the level of how the indicators overlap to work but in actual term the maximum number of trades is very very minimal and barely operates as a real grid system..I think the description i used as grid is actually Hedging instead of a Grid..System just hedges a lot it actually does not Grid
i have little problem. the result differ to if tested by month separatly. Does you EA determine current position and place appropriate order to market?

I really have to congratulate you because a similar product, if real experimentation confirms the backtest at 99.9 would really be worth a lot of money, I can ask you for curiosities ... of course only if you think you want to answer.
Are the settings those present at the time of download?
How many indicators are present in this EA, because at the end of the backtest with visualization, I have seen a lot.

What happens is all the indicators on MT4 are deployed at the same time and only a few are used for entries depending on the kind of market condition the market is being faced with and the best entry which will be deployed to face that market condition based on historical winrate of that indicator in the past..
